[phone]
[So. Zombies. The moment Silence has left the house on his mission to locate Crowe and defend the others, Lucas is on the phone again, making a public call to the town.]
Everyone! If you don't know what we're about to face, these are zombies. Reanimated bodies of the dead. I know it doesn't make any sense, but you're going to have to

... Of course, this was completely unintentional. No, really. It became apparent with the entrance of a few more zombies that he was actually running away from them and just happened to crash into the ones fighting Lucas.
The suspicious peddler picks himself up and proceeds to shake his fist at a few incoming zombies.]
If I had my beautifully destructive enhancements, you'd all crawl back to whatever grave you pulled yourself out of!

[Great. Exactly the person he wanted by his side in a zombie invasion. The thought that Fassad's no-doubt extremely powerful Magypsy PSI could come in handy fizzles when he remembers the man had just got here. ...Woman. ...In-between person. Still, he appreciates the save.]
Get off those before they bite you! You shouldn't be out here; you don't have any PSI back!
[And the baseball bat goes shatters a femur.]

I-is that what they're trying to do!? How viciously unsani-
[But as soon as he realized Lucas may or may not have implied he was weak, the gloves were off.]
And just what are you saying, that I can't take care of myself without PSI? I don't even need that stupid power!
[Looking over at a looming zombie, Fassad counters and charges at it with his elbow extended. Its ribs completely shatter with that tackle.]

You forced a dancing monkey to fight your battles for you when we first met.
[Lucas does not have a high opinion of Fassad's abilities without fancy tech, PSI, or chimeric modifications. Nonetheless, he hesitates somewhat about throwing up a shield, Fassad seeming to be insulted by the very idea of using PSI. He'll leave the man be, in the end, still not realizing how dangerous the zombies truly were.]
Did these things exist before the army took over? I can't remember them before the invasion, but they popped up almost every night in the graveyard afterwards.
[Lucas carefully takes aim to smash another zombie head off its body. The head chatters mindlessly for a few moments before he crushes it.]

So that's what's goin' on with folks outside.
[His tone of voice sounds dark.]
... Reckon I should be glad I ain't organic anymore.

...You're sure? It's really alright. I catch everyone within a certain distance of me in the spell, anyway.

Icky zombies! Go back from whence you came!

The sound of a head smashing into another zombie with enough force to a second head off probably doesn't make for a very pleasant onomatopoeia. The green glow around the bat is similar in nature to the girl's.]
Hold on, miss!
[Shield Omega! You, too, can be multi-glowy with a few easy casts of defensive PSI.]

[ Amelia is suddenly basking in a green glow! She shoots the kid a pleased look! ]
Thank you! Defensive magic!
[ She cuts a glare at the remaining zombie straggling close about fifty yards away. Suddenly she starts to levitate. Suddenly she is bolting at the zombie in the air, flying at it like a missile, smashing its face in with her fist. ]
Pacifist crush!

Be careful not to get bit while you're punching...

Rakkum frakkum tenacious little...
[Branching away from the realms of the theoretical, they would also be able to easily transition from that into punching a weapon-assisted hole through the next animated corpse's head and speak to Lucas after the fact.]
Hey, kid. You alright there?

I'll be fine, mister. Thanks for the -- Duck!
[And there is a yo-yo flying just above Yuri's head to catch the zombie making a pounce.]

[He lets out a low whistle as he watches the creature fly back, impressed.]
Not gonna lie, never seen a yo-yo do anything like that. Not bad, not bad at all.

This... isn't quite a normal yo-yo. And I've never seen anyone kick so hard, mister, so I guess we're even.
