2 - Feeling strange

[Okay, weird. After that bright flash, Minato didn't feel like himself. It could be the wobbly scenery, or his body feeling like a jellyfish, or those weird little men marching down the streets. His eyes are glazed over, though that isn't any different from how he looks. What is different is how he's just wandering in the street, not heeding any cars that could pass by.]

[Wandering aimlessly in the street. . . . Not even that. Wobbling in the street. Definitely a bad sign. Lucas runs over and tries to pull the man back on the sidewalk before he can get run over.]

[Minato doesn't resist being tugged, though he nearly topples over as they reach the sidewalk, sounds and bells in his head. Just in time, because a car speeds through the spot from where Lucas grabbed him.]

[Lucas catches him before he falls and strains a little not to let him drop.]

C-Can you hear me? Do you understand what I'm saying?

[doudemoe]

Yes. [Said to both boys holding him.]

Who are you two?

. . . My name is Lucas. Um. The other one is . . . Claus?

[He hadn't meant to say that but he goes with it. The hallucinations sometimes got worse when they weren't acknowledged.]

I'm going to try to help. What kinds of things are you seeing?

Um...lots of things?

[Like two boys talking at once, and a large black-and-white ant, and tiny UFOs flying around.]

That's not too specific . . . Well. You can see me OK, so it probably isn't too bad. Do you want to try to wait it out or will you be OK with me using more PSI on you?

...What's PSI?

[He didn't even see where the bright flash came from.]

It's . . . psychic power, I guess. I can heal what I did, but it would mean going into your mind a little.

[doudemoe]

[...He just shrugs. Lucas, you're talking to someone who, when asked to sign a contract, does it without asking questions.]

Alright.

[a_gentle_boy]

OK, then.

. . . Try to ignore anything you might see in the next minute or so.

[The glow that begins to spiral around Lucas collects in his palms before he reaches around to place a hand softly over Minato's forehead. The PSI begins to seep in . . . He frowns in concentration as he increases the strength of his Healing to beta level, accompanied by a corresponding increase in the intensity of the glow.

Minato may or may not improve. Minato may or may not suffer worse hallucinations momentarily as he improves. Minato may or may not suddenly think Lucas is a pink elephant. However, according to the laws of Lucas's power, normally, he would improve.]

[doudemoe]

[Suddenly, everyone is a pink elephant. Only for a few seconds. Minato's back to normal, but he turns his head a few times, confused as to how he suddenly got across the street.]

[Lucas misconstrues this as continuing to hallucinate and leans forward anxiously.]

Are you feeling any better? Um, um. How many fingers am I holding up?
