i was just informed of 2 things
1- my 6th grad teacher, Mrs. Wanda Triest, passed away at the beginning of july. she was 70, and it was a heart attack, so it was no innevitable...more or less, but it is still very very sad. she was probably the best teacher ive ever had, and a pretty good friend of the family, at the time anyways. she tought me multiplication...or decimals or something hard that i couldnt ever understand. it was awesome. she ruled so hard. im sad now.
2- this ones a little more positive. my dad orderd "the best of tommy james" for me the other day, and its in already. im soooo psyched. i did buy his crimson and clover LP on vinyl today, so its kinda redundant, but me/laura's turntable doesnt even work, so its cool. man. i love oldies lately. im starting an oldies band too. not covers, original stuff, but real happy, poppy distortion-free stuff. should be revolutionary, like my life in general.

1- "my sherona" should never ever be played still, on any kind of radio station (internet or otherwise), let alone "oldies radio: hits of the 50s and 60s", but somehow it was tonight. total B.S.
2- what kind of pervert writes a song, that he knows people will hear, with a lyric like "i always get it up for the touch of the younger kind" ? sick.
i think that should do it for tonight.
i edit so much cuz when i post something as amazing as the black jesus, i dont want newer updates to take away from it, so as i think of new gems, i just add them and change the time so this entry just keeps poppin up on all your friends pages, whether you like it or not.
