Chosen race: Half-Breed (Demon)
Attributes: Eclair looks pretty normal, although her scarily light blue eyes are pretty unnatural in her family, and a distinguishing mark among those who know the Tonnerre line best.
Primary Magic: Black
Secondary Magics: Fire...and Earth?
Magical abilities: Very few spells used on an everyday basis. In fact, it seems the only ones Eclair would be interested in would be those concerning one’s outer beauty and other material aspects.
Appearance:
Eclair is a pure French young lady, with blond/reddish hair, pale skin, a slender heart shape face and large blue eyes that almost seem too big for her face, and too blue to be natural. She’s got a slender build, fit for most of the extravagant ball gowns that require corsets to be worn under them, and she’s pretty well endowed in the upper part of her body if my drift is gotten. If anything, she’s the opposite of sporty, and seems to be the type of person that, upon first meeting them, are considered delicate and easily breakable (even if they’re not). In fact, perhaps one of the few drawbacks of her dollish face (thanks to either copious amounts of make up or extensive skin care treatments - the world will never know!) would be that she is, in fact, a wee-bit short...And the chunky, hand made opera glasses she almost constantly keeps on her person to inspect people with.
Personality:
She was raised in a powerful family household, where rules were instilled in each child at an early age. Eclair, being the youngest, at the same time had a very lax and a very strict upbringing, if only in the sense that, while little was expected of her in the long run, she still learned the same thing as the siblings that were expected to take over the Tonnerre shipping company. Essentially, she is a quiet person around those of whom she is expected to be. But at the same time, Eclair has a tendency to judge people rather quickly (in the ‘I like you’ and the ‘you annoy me’ sense) and then base entire relationships off those automatic, five-minute assumptions. To those she likes, Eclair could be seen as a rather straight forward person with snark and insults (playful or otherwise) on the tip of her tongue, and to those she does not, she could be quite the bitch, with the ‘go-away-or-I-shall-rip-your-eyes-out!’ persona at times. And yet, Eclair knows the line to tread between socially acceptable behavior and public, and more private interactions between acquaintances, and she walks it quite well. When she wants to. Her personality is usually pretty frigid towards those she has not yet deemed ‘likable’ or otherwise, and any out of character/sensitive moments and phases in her personality are quickly rectified with returning to said frigid nature.
History:
Born in France, Eclair Tonnerre was the youngest, last child, and only girl of Madam Tonnerre, wife of Monsieur Tonnerre who was the head of Tonnerre Shipping Company. The key being last child of the Madam, not her husband, even if after the initial affair, the baby girl was passed off as their youngest child. She was treated normally, sweetly, spoiled, but as for the tentative attributes that come with being half bred, she was always a sickly child and was never really ever allowed to play outside. Not that many of her siblings were, either. Instead, the whole family was rather business-centric, in the Hera is watching you sense.
Eclair grew up under the illusion that she was just special and sick and unhealthy, and - even after a tad bit of research - was still not entirely convinced she was a mixed breed of human and more magical of creatures at the age of seventeen, until her mother informed her of the true nature of her biological father. Even then Eclair refused to fully believe her, even if the evidence was piling up. Still, her Papa remained her papa, and she remained his little girl for the time. Yet, despite the differences between her and her brothers and her father, she was still raised to hold some position of power over people, and thus - when she turned the age of twenty-five (although she still looked rather young) her father decided that it was time for Eclair to either get married to the heir of some important over-seas company, or did something to better the company’s financial status.
She was given several options - all proposed by her eldest brother - and, in the end, in favor of visiting a spot she had never been before, and one where none of her family members had infiltrated before, she chose the isle of Mykonos, even if - upon arrival, she was less than happy with the place. The rest of her history is rather blank - as is normal ground with background characters - but there is always more to come.
