Reality Check
At our last doctors appointment, Fern and I were figuratively Ho-Checked by the weighty backhand of reality. It seems that Neven is getting a little too big a little too fast and the doctor suggested we consider inducing labor early. So we scheduled his birthday to be this Wednesday upcoming, March 11th. There have been precious few moments in my life where I have been struck speechless by the uttering of one simple statement, but "You are going to be a father on Wednesday" was certainly one of them.
So I have two days left to be as self centered and self concerned as I possibly can, before I might have to start feeling guilty for being that way. Thanks reality, you are a real pal.
