hmm...it has been a while hasn't it...
first the negative
1) I feel sick because I'm not playing much music, and the music that I am playing is pep band renditions of eye of the tiger and hey ya. Not throwing up sick, but mentally sick and completely heartbroken. It comes in waves, I love pep band, it is a lot of fun, but whenever I hear anyone say anything about concerts, bands, orchestra, symphonies, practicing, getting really good or just simply music history I want to cry. I'm really really afraid that I won't get to work at Caz next summer, and I really can't even imagine. So even pictures of Caz hurt...
2) I have three midterms next week, and I have studied for one of them.
3) I can't decide whether to be a ballerina or Alice in Wonderland on tuesday. I was alice on friday and a ballerina yesterday. Alice is more of a costume and the ballerina is just me finding an excuse to wear a dress.
that's about it
now for the good
1) I have grown to love Boston...fall is amazing. The city is great...it has a crispness right now that is just simply wonderful. And it's fun to have adventures.
2) I got to see Phantom Planet last night at a masquerade party at my school.
3) I get to go home for thanksgiving and see everyone.
4) My roommate is a lot of fun. So that worked out.
5) I have rediscovered some songs in my Itunes that I am enjoying right now
6) My bed has become my bed.
7) I can't wait to wear my new snow coat. It feels like wearing a silk comforter with a faux fur hood.
8) I'm kind of nervous/excited about the cold weather simply because I can't even fathom it. So it will be a completely new thing. Painful but new. Plus I get to do number 7.
8) Last night I was wandering around after walking Sarah back to her dorm and I passed a fire station which led to:
a) the fireman sitting in the chair stood up and said "we are going to a fire! wish us luck!!" which made me feel happy for
whatever reason
b) I was subject of one of the best super drunk pickup lines ever "you have a nice face, your dress should match."
I'll end it on that note.
