I think Thursday had to have made it to at least the top ten of worst days in my life.
Fucking BankOne, because they changed their policy without informing anyone, and thanks to a combination of that and a miscalculation of mine, the bank wanted me to pay them almost $650 in fees. Mother fuckers. Luckily, no matter how much of a disappointment I am to my dad, he'd never want me to pay something like that for such a fucking stupid reason, he got them to remove the fees yesterday.
Then there is of course Oakton, which I don't want to get into at the moment.
Then there was another disappointment, which, again, shall go unnamed. That has also been resolved.
And my dad found out about my grades, so you can imagine how well that went.
But, everything, for the most part, has been cleared up/fixed.
My last task is to see what I can do to fix my problems at Oakton.
I am not going to school next semester, and though my dad is giving me all kinds of bullshit about losing his insurance if I'm not in school, I think he knows in the back of his mind that it's the right thing for me at the moment.
And since I'll have all kinds of free time for lack of school/no insurance anymore, I think I am going to got back to the dreaded Jewel 8730, and look for my Bake Shop job back. I don't see that it would be any problem; they never got anyone to replace me, I was good at it (if I do say so myself), I left on a good note, and the manager hates Dan, not me.
I only want to work the minimum of 12 hours, since CVS will still be my primary job. I just need the extra cash and amazing insurance benefits that come with it.
And yeah, that's my story. We'll see how it ends.
