There was quite a ruckus last night. I wonder, were there any deaths?

It would all make terribly useful information, if they had. It's difficult to identify reports of death, and I suspect it's because many don't realise when they've been killed.

I suppose if it were sudden enough, confusing enough. Or else there seems to be some degree of shame to admitting to having died; people rarely do, I've observed.

Have you experienced death?

Uhm, not that I know of. And I'm pretty sure that if I had died and I didn't remember it, someone would've told me, right?
