Chaos, indeed. Among other things.

Other things, indeed. The more I hear, the harder it is to believe... but it is almost too strange to be true.

What is it they say? Ah, seeing is believing. Some of the things here could make one wish it was all a dream, though.

I quite agree.

A pleasure, Doyle-san. I am Sakaki.

Oh? I thought you had faith in something you couldn't see.

... That is a completely different matter, sir.

YOU KNOW IT. <3 a_failed_god January 13 2008, 18:09:34 UTC
I disagree. It is, once more, a mere hypocrisy, the sort of which you are so terribly proficient with.

OHH, SHE'S SO BAD AT ARGUING LIKE THIS. <3 sorcerously January 13 2008, 18:12:55 UTC
The miracles our Lord creates are present in every day life, though one does not need them there to know that He exists. Once again, it is called blind faith.

Hojo kind of is too, mostly because I am. :x a_failed_god January 13 2008, 18:15:18 UTC
There is no standard by which to prove that those are miracles and not incidences, particularly when you are in a world that directly contradicts your learnings.

'Blind' is correct.

Don't worry, bb. So am I. We can argue horribly together~ |D sorcerously January 13 2008, 18:20:48 UTC
The entire Bible is a contradiction, were one to read it thoroughly.

'Put away from yourselves the evil person.' Yet a few pages over, it states, 'This punishment which was inflicted by the majority is sufficient for such a man, so that, on the contrary, you ought rather to forgive and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one be swallowed up with too much sorrow.'

He's so getting off on toying with her, though. a_failed_god January 13 2008, 18:25:20 UTC
And yet you would believe a book of conflicting moral codes, even once you are presented with a reality to which answers still need to be sought, and to which that book holds no answer?

You can find nothing there that will assist you - only errors that will divert you. A foolish waste of your life, would you not say?

If she knew that, she'd just shut up. But, alas, she's too proud. sorcerously January 13 2008, 18:37:26 UTC
The Holy Text offers guidance, though not always answers. It is foolish to expect explanations for everything.

If I do not find solace in God's words, then I have nothing to believe in. A waste, perhaps. But it is still part of my life.

He likes her pride, though. <3 a_failed_god January 13 2008, 18:47:19 UTC
More fool you to not assess the situation physically. There is no need for contradictory, foolish 'moral guidance', here or elsewhere.

Then you have nothing to believe in but lies.
