Year End Event Sequence of Events

And now for the last reveal of the bunch.  Here is what is going to happen this week and next as the characters take control of the station.  Val's post is open to all guests and she is letting everyone know what the plan is, so the plotting is now underway ICly.

Agenda

Week 156:  The guests blow F3 to hell, causing massive damage and revealing F3 for the fake it is.  Behind the scenes the Consortium decides that this is just too damn expensive and decide to destroy Alpha Omega rather than trying to replace Val.

Week 157: Val updates the rebellion with the news that the Consortium has decided to destroy the station rather than deal with trying to replace her and her troublesome guests.  She gives them the info they will need to seize the station before it can be destroyed.

- When the station is overrun, it will go into lockdown.  All ships and escape pods will immediately take off, trapping everyone on the station.  The Consortium will have two ways to deal with the mess:  Override the lockdown and open the airlock in the transport hub, venting the station into space, or hit the self destruct button.  By her calculations, within ten minutes of the riot starting someone will order the self destruct.  Hackers will need to interfere until a team can physically disconnect the self destruct.  As soon as the Consortium becomes aware the self destruct is gone, they’ll try to vent.  A team needs to have that airlock completely disabled before that can happen.  Finally, critical systems need to be physically secured to make sure that the Consortium can’t find another way to remove them.  A large group of guests running riot in the station will help to mask the teams movements and will distract the Consortium, buying more time.

The Consortium is unaware that Val has hacked their communications and are continuing to hold fake negotiations with her.  The Consortium starts to ship biological staff off of the station.

Week 158:  No reset, the staff is too busy packing up shop.  Val flips a switch, setting all collars to black.  The guests blow up the second floor cafeteria and break into the warehouse.  A little help from Val gets them past the blast doors and into the station.  While a large percentage of the group is assigned to run around the station in a completely disorganized fashion (aka riot) as a distraction (probably killing off the remaining biological staff, all 102 of them), several smaller teams go to work.  One group has to stealthily and quickly disable the main airlock in the transportation hub to prevent the place being vented.  The hackers have to settle in to help stop the Consortium from sending a destruct sequence while a third team works to physically disconnect the self destruct.  The technically savvy types as a fourth team(s) will head to engineering and station operations to physically secure the critical systems.

Assuming all of these go to plan, the Consortium will lose control of the station, leaving it in Val’s . . . circuits.  As soon as the coast is clear, she sets the collars back to silver to control her guests.  The riot team will have received directions to NOT destroy the green house or the warehouses, as those will be the last supplies the station will be seeing for a long time.  Please keep in mind that the staff they killed will just be lying around rotting until the robotic staff can get them cleaned up, so it might be in everyone’s best interest to chip in and help get those corpses to the incinerator.

Questions and plotting can go here!  There are spots for everyone, from blowing up the cafeteria to hacking to murderous rioting to securing systems.
