Holiday plottings
Hey everyone! With the holidays coming up, Midnighter is sort of planning something. Not that he wants anyone to know this, of course. What is he doing? He wants to make a Christmas tree, complete with ornaments and lights and all that fun stuff. However, he doesn’t want anyone to know he’s doing this.
So what’s going to happen?
Well, Sunday or Monday I plan on making a post with Midnigher asking for trinkets people won’t miss for a while, promising he’ll (try) to return them in about a month. He won’t tell anyone why, no matter how much they pry. The trinkets he’ll use as ornaments.
Throughout the week, Midnighter will be turning the trinkets into ornaments, and trying to gather other components for the tree. I figure one or two people find out about Midnighter’s plan, and enlist some of the kid characters to create arts and crafts ornaments or something of that nature.
At the end of the week, a tree will have mysteriously appeared in the rec room, people’s trinkets dressing the tree, Roxas’ little light balls serving as the lights, and something (haven’t figure that part out yet) serving as garland/tinsel and a tree topper. Midnighter will be angry if anyone tries to thank him, or point out that it was obviously him who did it.
I hope as many of your characters can get involved in this as possible and give Midnighter your crap (he’ll take good care of it but he can’t promise some asshole won’t steal it off the tree), make ornaments, etc. I think it will give the place a night little holiday spirit, something it will desperately need after the last couple weeks.
ALSO, I know that there were a couple other muns with holiday ideas out there, so
Secret Santa:
I know Alfed/America wants to do some form of secret santa. I’m fairly certain someone else on plurk also mentioned their character(s) wanted to create a secret santa, but forgive me I forget who, so let them know if you want to do it/your character wants in on that!
Hannukah:
And Devon, Billy’s mun, was wondering if any of the other characters in the Facility were Jewish, or if anyone had any suggestions for celebrating hannukah.
Christmas Party
Dean is planning on planning a Christmas party, as well as make gifts for children. We got us a real live Santa Claus, people.
