Hello, this is Devon (Billy, Severus-mun), and I'm bringing in Artemis Fowl II from the Artemis Fowl novels. He's a (former) criminal master mind, and child (now teenaged) genius, who has been tangled up in the goings on of the fairy folk since he kidnapped one at the age of twelve. He's fresh from the end of the most recent novel, Atlantis Complex. This means he is currently suffering from a fairy condition known as Atlantis Complex. The book defines it as '"Atlantis Complex: (At-lan-tyss kom-pleks) is a psychosis common among guilt-ridden criminals, first diagnosed by Dr E. Dypess of the Atlantis Brainology Clinic. Other symptoms include obsessive behaviour, paranoia, delusions and in extreme cases multiple-personality disorder. Dr E. Dypess is also known for his hit song ‘I'm In Two Minds About You.’"' I have done my research on its real world counterparts, but would welcome any comments, concerns, or general information that anyone feels they would like to share.
Artemis is in particular, obsessive over numbers. Four (or any multiple there of) has become the number he avoids at all costs, while five is the counter to it, his lucky number.
He also has a secondary personality named Orion, who is a young romantic with all of Artemis' memories but none of his genius. He appears when Artemis is shocked with electricity, or under extreme amounts of mental trauma, so I expect you'll be seeing him eventually.
If anyone wants to plot, poke me on AIM (Devonna269) or plurk (silversomber). <3
