Doc Scratch Slowatus for now
I really hate to be going on a slowatus/hiatus when I'm in the middle of trying to get my activity in a-fac back up and at an even pace. Sadly, work has been really rough on me. I've been having to do a ton of overtime because we're so understaffed and today was the first day of possibly two weeks of long shifts with a bunch of little kids, and already I'm exhausted.
I'm also preparing to go to Otakon, and have to get four cosplays all the way done by the time it rolls around. I'm going to be cosplaying Dave and Terezi while I'm helping my sister get her Rose and gijinka Pikachu cosplays together. Mostly done but very time consuming.
Overall, I've also found it almost a chore to try and get into my voice for Doc Scratch. Mostly I think I'm lacking any kind of motivation for him to do anything, since his big driving force in canon was to summon his master, and he pretty much dedicated every single moment of his life towards this goal. I will try and stick to him for now, though, because I've received some really encouraging positive feedback on how I play him, and I think I can pull through if I find him some characterizing conflict. I'm also going to be joining as Joshua Kiryu from The World Ends With You soon, a character I have a much stronger voice for, so be prepared for him as well when I stop being busy~
