Summary: Folken's gone to stay with big brother, but why's there a girl there?

Folken sat on the bed in Van's room, swinging his legs idly as he stared at the two adults in front of him. Though he'd never met them before, Van claimed to be his little brother, and somehow, Folken found himself believing the other. After all, he had Mama's eyes, and Papa's hair, and stood like he'd been training with Balgus. And the wings, too, Folken couldn't forget his awe at the wings.
He was ten years older than Van, usually, but Van was now ten years older than him, which made him fifteen. Folken's eyebrows came together as he worked it all out, counting five years until his brother was born and twenty years until he was as old as he should be. They seemed like such long times to him, lifetimes away, impossible to comprehend, but Van said he was telling the truth, so Folken was inclined to believe him. He was so nice.
Folken hoped he was a good big brother.
The short haired girl, though, was another matter. She was from the Mystic Moon, though she called it Earth, which was a weird name, and she had short hair and a just as short skirt. Folken bet his Papa would have said something disapproving about that. She did seem friendly, but Folken thought that her sleeping in Van's room was weird. Who'd want to sleep near a girl? He tilted his head forward, peering through blue hair at the woman, eyeing her suspiciously.
"You know," he began, in a piping voice, "I heard the maids talking in the kitchen when I went to get some bread last week. They said that Marie was a bad woman, because she was sleeping in Garth's bed and Rufus' bed, and she wasn't married to either of them, and now she had no reputation, or a certain reputation, but the wouldn't tell me when I asked them." He took a gasp of breath at the end of that run on sentence. "If I was sleeping here and Van was sleeping here, does that mean the same will happen to Hitomi?"
