Lavi looked down at Lenalee. “We're going where ever Tsunade, the head healer happens to be. If she's too busy we'll ask for Hanatarou, should he be busy we'll wait.” He looked down at the smaller woman. She meant so much to Komui, and he understood why. All those times he had to pretend not to care when she was hurt, or when he had to leave her behind for her to fight that level three. He hated it. Hated that part of his bookman duty. But here it wasn't so bad, he could openly care about people. He could care that Allen had gotten into a fight, and he could care that Lenalee had been bitten by a snake.

“Come on you.” He said grinning down at her and leading her to the end of the suite. “And for the Record, I would Lenalee. You're my friend.” He said smiling at her. He was carefully trying to avoid the subject of Reno. It's too damn complicated. he thought, sighing inwardly. “And I'm not letting two of my friends be insano-martyrs.” he said, his smile turning to his trademark grin. “It's better to get this from me than your brother ( ... )

Lenalee let out a few bright giggles as she placed a hand behind her neck. He was right, of course. Komui always had a way of making Lenalee give in, no matter what the subject was.

"And Tsunade is in the Cafeteria, right?" Lenalee asked, nodding her head in Lavi direction. She brought her hand down to her bitten one, as she found it was getting harder to move it on her own. Pain enclosed her entire body as she touched it, each pressure point feeling like a million needles. "Ow!" She exclaimed. Lenalee shook her hand around and about, while using the other to undo the buttons of her uniform. Wearing clothing underneath her Exorcist clothes always came in handy.

Brushing the jacket off, Lenalee threw it to the ground, and held onto her arm. Sure, it hurt, but at the moment Lenalee could think of nothing better to do. She looked at her arm, her eyes going wide with surprise; Lenalee's normally quite pale arms turning into a purple and red mixed color. This was not good at all.

Lavi looked at Lenalee's Arm. “Right, Lets get you there double time. Do you want me to carry you?” he asked seriously. “Come on, we're not to far from the Cafeteria, how long since you've been bitten?” He continued his almost uncharacteristic seriousness. Lenalee could not die the second she got here, that'd kill Komui, and all of us. he thought desperately. He opened the door and invoked his innocence, the hammer appearing in the flash of brilliant light.

“I'm not getting bitten, and you're not getting bitten again either.” he said, raising his hammer to his shoulder, his one green eye spreading across the vast white hallway memorizing every detail he could. “We're safe for now...” he said turning his head to her checking to see if she's okay. He took her other hand gently and turned to her quickly. “If you see anything, just yell and I'll squish it flat.” He said with an attempt at a grin.

"No, I do not want you to carry me." Lenalee growled. She found it unfair that she was taking all her anger out on Lavi. He was being nothing less than a perfect gentleman, and Lenalee was being, well... Lenalee. The not perfect one. The stupid one. The careless one.

"We should just go back." Lenalee mumbled, wrapping her uniform jacket around her arm. Get used to it. Lenalee ordered herself, as the pain pushed and threatened her very stature. Her body put up a good fight, she had to admit, but in the end the venom was too powerful for her to withstand. Taking a short step forward, she placed her normal arm on Lavi's shoulder, offering some of her weight onto him.

She muttered out an apology and pulled away from him almost immediately. If Lavi was going to be getting rid of the snakes, there was no way he would be able to babysit after Lenalee at the same time.

Lavi looked at his young friend. She was acting so strange, normally, she would have done what's better for the group as a whole. “Look, You're injured. Come on.” he said deactivating his Innocence. “If we're on the way to the medics it doesn't matter if I get bitten. You however have just got here, You need to be okay alright?” that last part of his question was harsh with worry.

Lavi blinked, he hadn't meant to sound so angry. He turned to Lenalee. “I'm sorry.” he said sadly. “Look, I'm just worried about you. Let's get you to a Medic.” He said wanting to avoid his harshness. He tucked one hand under her legs and placed another hand on her back, he lifted her easily and began to move swiftly towards the Medics. “You can beat me for this later.”

"H-hey!" Lenalee shouted, squirming around at his touch. Her legs moved without her consent, kicking and flailing around a bit. She was positive to any people walking by she would look like a little child, kicking and screaming in their friend's arms.

After a moment or so of flailing around, Lenalee got tired, and really, her arm was bothering her. Sighing in defeat, she leaned back against his arms, finding this entire thing completely ridiculous.

"If you die," she started, gaining a serious tone. "I will never forgive you, Lavi." Lenalee sent a look over toward the red-head, reminding him of how hard she could punch when she was angry. And right now she considered her emotions to fall under the 'angry' category.

“Yes Ma'am.” he said dashing past several doors. He saw a snake in the middle of the hall, chancing it, he leaped over it narrowly dodging being bitten, but dodging it none the less. “I'm a lucky one aren't I?” he asked grinning at Lenalee. “Not much further now.” he added, slowing down a bit. He glanced back for a moment to check if the snake was still following, which it wasn't.

Lavi came to a halt outside the cafeteria. “Come on Lenalee. No more fussing your arm is really bad, and as I said. You cannot die here.” he finished firmly. He'd hoped his new caring persona hadn't aroused any suspicion from the slightly younger exorcist.

"Don't rely on luck." Lenalee said, continuing her icy glare at Lavi. Had he gotten bit, Lavi wouldn't need to wait for the venom of kill him; Lenalee would do it herself.

"I'm not going to die." Lenalee sighed, while rolling her eyes. "There's too many things I still have to do. Dying won't help any of that." It was true. No matter how far away they were, the Exorcist's battle wasn't over just yet. The Earl was still out there, the Noah were still out there... this war wasn't going to disappear just because the Exorcists did. Lenalee needed to keep alive to protect everyone. It was her duty as an Exorcist, and as a friend.
