Howard had the robots set it up just like that - so no one was above anyone else. This was a meeting of equals, after all. There was water on the table, and somewhere, he had stashed a bottle of whiskey as well -- because he had the feeling he would need it afterwards.
He himself set up at a corner near the back wall, multiple pencils, and of course, a few cigarettes at his elbow. An ashtray sat on the other side. He was already taking notes, and just waiting for everyone else to arrive.
