The point had been for Sylar only to stay over until dawn and leave so as to not scare the little girl upstairs. That was fine in theory but not in practice when neither adult had an alarm and the sofa was very comfortable, even if they were both half sitting up. Mohinder was having dreams of home, of laughing at Matt for trying to braid Molly's hair and Molly's momentary obsession with Hannah Montana that saw both of her 'fathers' dancing in front of the small analog TV with her.
He probably ought to have known that keeping secrets was a bad idea. He was an adult after all!
