[Kate will bother her! Because she has no clue who all Tommy invited to this. She approaches Jade, smiling a bit] Hi there. Did you need help or something? You look a little lost.

[ She smiles! ] I'm here for a party! Are you the birthday person? Because I have something for you, if so.

Oh, so Tommy invited you? And yeah, that's me. I'm Kate.

He did! Because I was a kid, I think.

[ She pulls the card out and hands it over. ]

Happy birthday, Kate! I'm Jade!

Kids should get to have a little fun around here. [Tommy just shrugs, but he's holding out a piece of cake on a paper plate to Jade when she gives Kate the card.] Besides, I knew you'd love sparkly birthday cards, Kate.

No problem! I was glad to make the card. [ She looks at the cake in awe. ] Where did you get this?

[Kate takes the card with a smile] Nice to meet you Jade. Thank you for the card. [Tommy gets a good natured eye roll]

I happen to like glitter very much, Shepherd. Especially purple glitter.

You're welcome! [ Purple glitter is smeared all over it. ]

That's what he told me, so I put it on the card. Is that okay?

Sure, if you want to. I guess it would be kind of weird to come to someone's birthday party and not talk to them at least a little, huh?

Definitely! So...you are Kate. What do you like to do?

Lots of things. But here it's mostly limited to drawing, archery and sparring in the biodome. Not a lot of other options, you know.

Oh, drawing is really fun! I wish I had my guns here, so that I could do target practice...oh well.

That's how I kill most of my time. And you should get your guns back when we go on our next trip. You'll be able to do target practice then.
