Alessa blinked awake, and she immediately knew something was wrong. Yes, the fact that she wasn't in her room was an indicator, but a clearer signal was the fact that she was chained to the ground. Fun.
She sat up, rubbing her eyes and then quietly examining herself. There were metal rings everywhere on her--her wrists, her ankles, her arms, her legs, and her torso, not counting the collar she already had on her neck.
A trap. She wasn't quite sure what it was supposed to be, though.
