[He was a mess and there was no other way to put it. Sure, he was not in a state like he was when he first arrived to facility but he was not too far away from it. The whole situation had been horrible and he had watched a man he was growing decently trusting of, be pulled in by the foliage that had taken over the halls and rooms of the hellish institution, essentially slaughtered before his very eyes. While Colin was not a stranger to gore and death, considering the area and situation he grew up in, he was coming to care for the older man and well--it was strange for him to care for an adult but to see an adult that he mildly thought he could tolerate amongst his mental instabilities considering he lived in the same suite now, it was a horrifying experience to see him pulled away by the vines that had originally been after him. Currently sporting a massive guilt complex, Colin remained holed up in his room since the incident, pretty much a wreck from the situation emotionally and within his rather fragile mind.
At the moment he though he would kill to be able to turn into his alter-ego then maybe he could be of some use to people around here instead of having to be pulled away from every situation but he could wait--Damian would come back and maybe he could train him and while Colin was beginning to dismiss the initial issue of thought where he believed he was locked up in the same mental institution he was a year ago and everything between had been a dream, right now he really wished he had someone to tell him that he had the strength and he knew that only Damian knew that.
Hugging a pillow, he curled up in the corner on his bed, face buried into the surface.]
