He stopped in the doorway when he saw her still laying there, Soul sighed and strode over to his dresser and dumped the food on it before texting Roxas and Allen to come over. This couldn't go on another day.
Texts sent, Soul slipped his hands into his pockets. "So, this is it, huh? You're done?"

Maka had been acting this way for weeks- though maybe not this bad-- and he'd thought maybe Soul coming back would help but it hadn't and that hurt in the hollow part of himself that wasn't supposed to feel. She was his friend and she'd barely been herself lately and the last thing Roxas wanted to see her do was give up.
He came to the open doorway and knocked twice on the frame to let Soul know he was there, gaze focused on Maka's prone form.

"Enough's enough, Maka. We can't keep watching you do this."

"I don't know what you want me to do." Was all she said in response to Soul's words.

It hurt, he thought, even if he couldn't feel it all way.

"This isn't about Jet." She clenched her fists, and barely refrained from storming away.

Soul struggled for another point not already hit, anything.
"Giving up and laying around is wasting days you could still spend with us still here. I mean. Don't you care about Roxas? Allen? Me? I don't know how long I'm gunna be here, or them, or you. While I'm here, I'll be damned if I'm going to let a day go by without doing something knowing that there's no garentee there's another for any of us. Giving up on yourself and laying down and dying is saying we're not worth fighting for either."

But she was tired of carrying on for them and it was too hard. She couldn't do it anymore. Maka would have voiced that aloud if Soul's words hadn't cut her off mid thought.
His words hurt. They were the only truth that kept her from going to Tyki and asking to go through with what he'd offered.
"I don't mean...I can't...that's not fair. You can't say that. You gave up on me. You left me." The last part is directed only at Soul.
