SUMMARY: After a rough introduction to the facility having come in right before the recent F3 and having difficulties floating about in the week prior, Colin finds himself in the recreational room having passed out from lack of sleep on

[Katniss was trying to get her gravity-legs back as she walked around, trying to get herself oriented, she was still exhausted, she had her own night terrors. Rue. The creatures with the cut up faces. The Mutts with the eyes... she shook her head as she entered the room, hearing the sound with her good ear, she turned her head in the direction to see if the sound would confirm it.]

[He didn't notice the other enter the room, he didn't see her because he was too busy looking down at his hands which he was wringing together. A breath in and a breath out--calm down, was all he could hear in his head--what Damian had told him since he arrived here in that severe tone of his but Damian was not there to tell him that at the moment so he was in the midst of almost having another panic attack.

Another breath, another out. All he had to do was stand up and go back to Damian's room, he could be safe there, he could find Steph.]

[She walked over to the sound and crouched down, her long black braid falling over her should.]

Shhh. Its alright. [She was using a soft voice, like she would to Prim. Another child here.]

[Another moment of panic as soon as the soothing voice sounded. Despite how nice it was, he backed away, immediately shifting his body to push himself with hands and feet away from the other--looking disoriented and panicked. Heavier breaths and he was watching her carefully, eyes upon her face. A girl--he had only met Steph so far and the other seemed young enough but still, he kept remembering Damian's words not to trust anyone.

His voice eventually caught in his throat as he backed himself against the nearby shelf.] Who--

Who are you?

I'm Katniss, I am also a prisoner here.

[He continues to watch her, silently for a moment, trying to catch his breath but he does not know what to think anymore. The only thing he can think to reply with is a glance and a small and quiet--] O-oh.

Its scary here, huh? [Hes a kid and obviously freaked.] Do you need help finding your room again, or do you want to go someplace else? The Biodome has a deer in it.

I'm fine. [Comes his sudden reply as he keeps his legs tugged up near his chest, keeping an eye on her carefully. He was not so inclined as he head off with the stranger and go exploring--he remembered where his room was but he was more interested in Damian's and while the Biodome sounded nice there were too many people in there.]

I'm okay here.

Want something to eat? [food always works right? It works for her.]

What-- [He looked up suddenly. Colin had not eaten well in what seemed like forever but it was not as if he was fed well at the orphanage either, it was the basics of what he needed. Watching the other carefully he shook his head. He didn't want to take her food.]

No--it's yours, I'll be fine.

No, its everyone's it will be from the cafeteria.

[He pauses and still seems hesitant.] I'm not hungry.

Of course. I'll get my lunch then. [AKA get a nutrient bar and eat it and pretend to have too much.]

[He watches her pull out the bar and looks down to his hands which he folds together, hiding them beneath his sleeves.] What--

[Colin hesitates.] What's your name again?

Katniss, like...a duck potato.

[There is an eyebrow arch and a mild smile that tugs at his lips. It is quiet and hardly there but present enough to show that whatever the girl had said had amused him, mildly.] What's a duck potato?
