John and Kenzi were just around the corner when the gravity gave out and John's feet left the carpet. "Wo-woah!" The first thing John did was reach for Kenzi, panicked not to have a sense of purchase at his feet, but that didn't help. She was floating too. "H-Hey! Hey, what's going on?!"

Well, obviously, there was no gravity. His brain understood that, but his neurons weren't properly firing. His bag nearly hit him in the head as his arse tilted upwards and his shoulders down.

"Blood hell!"

Kenzi was loving this. She wasn't scared at all, or freaking from the lack of normality. It was just another day in the facility and John was holding onto her and they weren't dead or worse!

All in all, a good day so far.

She was actually giggling evily as they floated, bringing her legs up under her to sit cross-legged in the air. "This... is the best thing ever. SO AWESOME! Oh man, we could fly to your room. Or air swim. WE'RE REALLY IN SPACE, JOHN!" Yep. Really excited.

Where, exactly, was Sherlock's bloody communicator? Last time they'd come back from F3 it had been sitting on the desk, neat as you please, and now... well, of course it'd have had time to shift since then, but really, it couldn't have gone that far. It was far too much trouble, this; projecting himself off of every object he could come across in hopes of finding a better viewpoint. Not easily done when one's skirt keeps... right. Yes. The dress. Well, at least it had come back with them. Wearing it had certainly made sure of that. And right now, it was a bloody pain in the arse, and it was coming off. The rest could stay, just for now. He didn't feel like risking opening any drawers at this point. There was enough of a mess floating about as it was ( ... )

Swim. Air swim. John looked at Kenzi as if she had two heads. The way she moved, though, was effortless. John felt like he'd been thrown into the water in all of his clothes. And considering he hadn't changed out of all of the layers he had worn back from F3 to be sure that they came back with him, he looked quite the mess with his bottom touching the ceiling.

And then he regulated himself, just as he might in the water, when everything reached status quo again. "Oh..."

An experimental doggy paddle did nothing, but guiding himself lightly down the corridor by pushing gently against the wall did a world of good.

"So...the spacestation's gravity gave out? Perfect." No, really. He'd seen shows on astronauts. Atrophied limbs were all they had to look forward to. "Let's get back to Sherlock before he gets nervous."
