Summary: Vizh from the past and Wanda from the present have a lot to talk about. Topics include their children, the tangled mess that happens to be their marriage, and where they're going from here.

If he really was focusing on his surroundings, he should then perceive the person that was flying at high speeds towards him. Wanda had decided against teleporting right next to him, mostly because it would only startle Vision and make things worse. If they could get any worse, that was it. Still, she had given him space when he needed it, and they could just not keep playing hide and seek, not with their children there, not with the situation they were into.

Wanda landed close to him, but far enough so that she needed to take a short walk to reach him. She had favored the same clothes she had when she had arrived, deciding her costume was probably better away.

"Anything on the horizon?" The moment she spoke, Wanda knew she just sucked at small talk in times like these, but it was already too late. All she could do is try to keep her cool and handle this accordingly.

Vision found it very hard to concentrate on not concentrating on Wanda when she was right there.

Steadying himself for the inevitable, he looked at her from the corner of his eye.

[No,] he said softly. [There is nothing worthy of mention.]

Well, that was it for small talk.

"You know the last thing I would ever want to do is hurt you, Vizh. Even if I...did." And even if he made her attack the others, too. "And now there is more to consider than our feelings. There are people, children that need us both. Together. Believe me when I say, it hurts me too to have to live through all the memories, but I'm willing to do my best for them. And for you."

[Wanda, I...]

The last thing he would ever want to do was hurt her. The last thing he ever thought he would do was hurt her.

But apparently, he had. Or rather, he would.

[No. I was the one that hurt you. When you needed me most, I was nothing. A shell of what I once was. A machine, nothing more than a computer that could talk.] Mustering up some courage, Vision turned to face Wanda. While her face told that she had been through a lot, she still looked like she always had. A strong woman, but always so kind and gentle. Always so... Beautiful.

[Wanda, I want nothing more than to be an active part of our sons' lives while we are here. And, no matter where our... relationship stands, I hope you know that I will always do whatever you need of me, that I shall be here for you regardless of anything that has happened or may happen.]

Don't blame yourself. There are too many things out of our control to simply blame you or anyone. And I don't blame you; back then )I wasn't myself and what I did was wrong. I should be blamed, if anything.

[She's going to put a hand in his shoulder very, very lightly.]

I know, and for that I will always be indebted to you. You and I have a lot of things to work out, but I want to work them out together, understood? So no taking all the blame away. We will teach our kids how is one supposed to face adversity no matter what.
