[Lavi had almost forgotten to send Maka the small message to set up their meeting yesterday, but he had sent it out asking if she could meet him on top of the saloon's rooftop in the afternoon. Her reply back had been short though he hadn't been expecting much back anyway. High noon had come and gone a few hours ago but it was still horribly hot and Lavi wondered if he should pull his hammer out to give them shade but it would just give away their location. Not to mention they had yet to see any locals like they normally did, monsters or people that had started to populate some visiting areas.
He huffed and leaned against his bent legs, arms outstretched to toy with the roofing material. Autumn laid stretched out on her back beside him, soaking up the lovely heat from the sun. Didn't know how she could stand it being as furry as she was. Lavi was almost tempted to poke her stomach if he hadn't heard the footsteps nearby. He grinned a little.]
