A Presentation of Sorts

Aug 28, 2011 02:40

Who: Damian Wayne and Bruce Wayne
When: Wednesday Night
Where: Bruce’s Room
Summary: Still sorting through his memories, but with no zombie invasion as an excuse, Damian decides it’s time to present himself to Bruce.
Rating: Possible swears? Unlikely? Babymama talk? Likely.
Warnings:

Being sent home, for the first time in his almost year-long stay in facility, has thrown Damian through the wringer. He has both a years worth of facility memories, during most of which he believed his father to be dead. Even Dick’s testimony, having come from later in the timeline, didn’t actually make him feel as though Bruce was alive.

But with his newly edited memory bank, he has his own memories of Bruce’s return. Of standing beside both him and Dick, of later attempting to work together, only to have it fail miserably. Months passed, Bruce left to work with Batman Inc, but, before just before he was cut out and stuck back in facility, Bruce was finally stated to return.

And Damian had anticipated it.

His emotions towards Bruce are cut in two, by two separate timelines fighting to align themselves. Not to mention the other problem, this Bruce, the Bruce whose door he’s about to knock on, doesn’t even know him, likely, isn’t even from the same universe.

Nevertheless, he had contacted him, and announced his intention to visit. Readying himself, he knocks.
