WHO: Timothy (bridalgownwings) & Bucky Barnes (bucky_cap). WHEN: AUGUST 24TH. WHERE: Biodome. SUMMARY: Father and son bonding over training. RATING: TBA. WARNING: NONE.
[Bucky has barely broken a sweat. The training regimen isn't nearly as intense as the one he uses for himself, but he's a good enough teacher to take it slow for Timothy, to go at a pace he can follow at. Truthfully, he's getting better; Bucky is pleased with his performance, and it it probably shows in his eyes, if nowhere else. He's using a branch of the same tree to do chin-ups, one-armed, the right one, starting to ease himself into his own routine while the other cools down.]
You did good, kid. Could stand to refine a few things, we'll get started on that next week if the experiment allows.
[He watches the other continue to work on his regiment and arches an eyebrow with a shake of his head. Bucky's dedication and strength had always been impressive to him and well--one armed chin-ups where no different. With a small sigh and a glance out to the rest of the biodome, he replied, arms crossing across his chest.] Hopefully it's not too bad.
[The repetitive motion is comforting in a way, the strain of his muscles and the sweet ache that would take his mind off other things. He's never been very good at staying still, he was always an active kid and that hasn't changed any since then.]
You got that right. Speaking of which... We probably need to talk about last week. Meaning, I need to apologize for being a giant brat. I was a-... difficult child.
[Timothy pauses and pushes himself off the tree to look over at the other with an arch of his eyebrow. Taking in a small breath he gives a moment of an incredulous glance and then with a shake of his head places his hands in his pockets.] You don't have to apologize, Bucky.
I mean--everyone's kind of a brat when they are a kid and it's not like you meant to, you didn't know what was going on.
