"At least you're not running around naked, right?"
Usagi was cute. She sort of reminded Heather of how she or some of her friends got when they were partying a little too hard with questionable substances, so Heather was immediately in a position to like her at least a little.

You're new, huh? My name is Usagi. Hiiiiiii."
Reply
"Hi, Usagi. I'm Heather."
Heather sauntered over to sit above Usagi, nursing her bottle. "You're sure you're not taking anything?"
Reply
Ah, the irony. Though Usagi had been drunk once, thanks to Tsunade offering her cheap cocktails, this constant euphoria was a complete mystery to her. "No, I didn't take anything 'cause I don't steal."
"Hey, I know," Usagi said, poking the vodka bottle to see it splash, "Let's get the chocolate Remus-papa gave me and share it. Then we can talk about boys."
Reply
"No, I didn't mean... never mind. Good for you. That you don't steal, I mean." Poor ditzy girl. Maybe someone gave her brownies? "I'd like chocolate."
At the mention of boys, a small wry smile came to her face, flickers of a life that felt so far away now coming back. She used to do that all the time with her friends. And by 'used to', she meant 'exactly one week ago'. "And yeah, the boys here are hit and miss. I'd love to hear who you're into."

With a grunt, Usagi propped herself on her elbows, slowly sat up, swept her loose, messy hair from her face, and got to her feet. Then she weaved and wobbled into the hallway, motioning for Heather to follow.
"Are you American? 'Cause you're Heather and all." Usagi giggled, remembering the remark about boys. "Well, Peter's really cool. The other Harry's kind of cool, too, but he's glowing pink right now." She laughed harder at that, imagining how fun it would be if Harry Potter stood in a dark room like a pink Christmas tree.
"But I already have someone back home. His name's Mamoru. What about you?"
Reply
"Yeah, I'm American. Usagi's a Japanese name, right?" It sounded Japanese, at least. Like something from one of those mangas or animes her friends liked so much.
"I don't have any boys back home. There's pretty slim pickings here if you know what I mean, but I met a cute guy named Bucky. He's from the 40's, but he's pretty cool anyway."

Usagi batted her loose hair from her face again and leaned a hand against the wall for support as she led the way, the high leading the drunk. "He's from the 40s? Wow...it's like time-traveling, kind of. Does he like you?"
Reaching a corner, Usagi paused and tilted her head, straining to think; the need to just turn left and keep going escaped her. She weaved toward Suite 20, then Suite 19 and paused. "Uh, which way is it...?"

She smirked, pushing her hair behind her ear. Heather was a pretty confident girl when it came to boys, so she allowed herself a little preening. "Yeah, he likes me. We danced in my suite. Blew his mind with modern dancing."
Then she quickly touched Usagi's shoulder in preparation for her falling over. "Which suite is this girl from? I'll know where it is."

With great effort and Heather's help, she righted herself again and kept walking. "Yeah, I thought my world was normal once, too. I gotta fight youma, and there's the princess. 'S all very bad. But I don't remember how to transform."
"Ahh, I'm so happy for you," Usagi said, giggling insanely at the image of those two dancing to pop or trance. "Really? Guys from the 40s dance different. We should show him para para."
Stumbling down the hall, Usagi finally came to a halt in front of Suite 15. "Ah, that's it. Here's my place now."

She takes a drink--ah, the vodka's really making her warm now--and she pushes the suite door open. "C'mon, then

And with that, she launched into a sloppy routine.
When she finished, she said, "Now you try it!"
Reply
"You gotta do it with me."
