Marie stood in front of Stein's door. Earlier in the week, he had said that Marie had it easy for her first experiment. It had been true up until now. She had received the order from Val about an hour ago, and she had felt the blades on her collar slowly expanding ever since. Any minute now they would start to draw blood.
She gave a sigh and knocked on the door. The sooner she got this over with the better.
