Summary: After dying a rather terrible death, Axel is back, only half healed.

And somebody is slipping into the room, near-silent in bare feet on the linoleum. He's got one hand behind his back as he moves forward.

"Hey, Axel."

Axel looks up from the 'berry this time, raising an eyebrow. "Come to visit the invalid, Riku?"

[the_daybreak]

"C'mon, buck up. I come bearing gifts," he replies with a little chuckle, settling on the bed beside him. "I'm sure you'll be excited."

"Thrilled. Whaddaya have for me?" He crosses his arms carefully, grinning.

[the_daybreak]

"Oh, it's great." And, drumroll please -- reaching over to place bunny ears on his head!

"There, now you're a proper cupcake bunny, huh?

Axel reaches up, tugging them off to look closer. "Proper, yeah. Where the hell did you get these?"

[the_daybreak]

"Jack gave them to me at easter," he replies with a little chuckle. "He gave Sora white ones and me purple ones." Riku takes the ears back and places them properly back on Axel's head, grinning faintly. "Outside of that, how are you feeling?"

"Uh huh," he just smirks, bunny ears sitting nicely on his spikes. "Been better, been worse. But I guess the only thing worse was a few days ago when I was actually dying from it." He shrugs his right shoulder, still trying to keep his whole torso still.

"Rox told me I was grounded, though. I dunno what that means for me."

It's cute, and he laughs, nodding a little. "Yeah, it's understandable. But you're all right now, so there's that, right?"

"House arrest, more or less. When'd he tell you that?" A little chuckle. He's never been grounded by his parents, let alone by Sora, so this is kinda funny. "How long?"

"Alright? You think this is alright?" He gestures down at his bandaged chest. "I never thought I'd miss moving so much. I kinda hate sitting here. Rox said there was no time limit on it and he'd tell me when I could leave before he went to heal more people today."

[the_daybreak]

"I think it's fine. You'll heal, won't you?" And then, a little chuckle. "When you want to do something, it's worse, huh? I'll bring you stuff through the week, though, how about that? And well... I think he's gonna keep you here until you get better, to be honest. D'you want some help along?]

"It'd better be some pretty great stuff," he laughs too, shaking his head. "How good're you with healing spells? I don't see you out with those two all that often."

[the_daybreak]

"I'm all right. I'm not on the list, but Sora taught me a lot of stuff. So I guess I do it on offer." A little shrug. "I can heal you a bit more, if you want."

"If it means I can get outta this house arrest sooner, have at me," he opens his arms wide, only wincing slightly as it moves his ribs.

[the_daybreak]

"Well, all right. But you've got to stay in bed until Roxas says. Don't pretend like you're all better just because I healed you." With a mumbled 'heal', he watches to see for any changes, blinking down at Axel after the green light dissipates. "How's that?"

He stretches, feeling for a stitch in his chest. "It's a little bit better, yeah. Don't worry, I won't tell on you." He winks, smirking.
