So this is what magic can do. [Amy picks her way across the war zone of the biodome. She stops a few yards away from Sirius and kicks the some splintered remains of a tree with her foot. She looks at him carefully.] I guess it really can do anything. From cleaning clothes to blowing up trees, yeah?

[That voice. He knows who it is instantly and not even his foul mood could keep the smile away. At the moment Amy is probably his favorite person in all of the universes. Sure they'd had themselves a snog a couple of weeks ago under the influence of an experiment but she wasn't avoiding him or even feeling guilty - plus he wasn't feeling that way towards her either. It was one of the few relationships that he hadn't screwed up in some way or another - even though he didn't even know what Remus' issue was.]

It does a whole lot more. Though some of them are illegal. [His tone is teasing, letting her think that they might be a little bit dirty or kinky.]

[She presses her lips together, suppressing a smirk.] Is that so? Apparently I'm not nearly versed enough in magical teachings. I might need a tutor. Would you happen to know anyone up for the job? Although I warn you, I learn best from experience.

[Yes, having a chat with a friend who he wasn't having issues with was definitely good for him. For his part Sirius does a damn good job at not laughing at her words.]

There is someone I have in mind who'd definitely be willing to show you all of the little tricks and magicks. I think it only fair to let you know that every single person he's tutored failed their exams.

[She moves in closer, so they're only a few feet apart now. She's glad to see him acting like his usual self. She locks her fingers behind her back and leans forward, her tone flirty.]

Well, good thing I have no intentions of taking any exams. Unless of course, my professor requires them. I sure hope you won't penalize me too much for poor marks.

[His mood is all because of her, she's kind of like his best girl friend ever. At this moment he's glad he met her so he can have someone to be normal with.]

I don't think your professor is too big on having exams. It just makes a whole lot more work for him. Handing out punishments isn't really my thing - been on the end of detentions far too much.

[This is more like the Sirius she knows and loves.]

Oh. So we're the bad-boy type, are we? Sirius Black, up to all the usual schoolboy mischief. And more, I'm guessing.

[He laughs for the first time since what seems like forever ago.]

So much more. Magic allows you to do things that might otherwise be impossible.

I've seen the impossible. It's amazing.

[Amy's smile is full of fond memories of another time. She isn't sad though, quite the opposite really. She traded the TARDIS (albeit not by her own volition) for something just as amazing as traveling through the universe. Although not under ideal circumstances, she had met some pretty awesome people. This boy being one of them.]

So, tell me, what kinds of mischief can you pull off with a little magic?

Oh lots of things. But if I told you, then I'd have to kill you.

[The tone is full of amusement. But he does look a little devious before going all serious on her.]

Now Ms. Pond. Are you ready for your first lesson in magic?

[She has to suppress a grin before taking on the most serious expression she can manage.]

Certainly, Professor. I'm ready to be educated in the proper ways of magic and spellcasting. [A hint of a smile tugs at the corners of her mouth, but she's able to keep it under control.]
