As always, Asura was sneaking around when he spotted Fujino. He'd been with her before. She'd done a good job of calming him down then...Although he rarely let her near him normally, this was not normal.

And so he lowered himself from the tree by his scarves, as if he was a hanged man descending to snap his neck before touching down. "Hi."

"Bad." Was his simply reply, as he dropped to his knees and wrapped his long arms around her waist, pushing his head against her.

"E-eh?"

While Fujino certainly didn't protest to this, it felt kind of odd. Last time she tried to hold him, it didn't exactly turn out well, what with those pesky ghosts and all. However, this time around, there wasn't anything that was stopping this little moment. Plus, she kind of missed having to hold him close.

Though she hesitated at first, she went to lean in closer, and slowly pulled him in a bit for a soft embrace.

"Why do you say that?" she asked, as she raised a hand to lightly stroke his head.

With a slow creaking, the scarves around his head opened, allowing his hair to fall free, full access to his head. He also didn't waste the opportunity to nuzzle between her breasts, breathing slowing. His legs slid out from under him, limply laying.

"Noise. People. Things."

Her breath hitched slightly as she felt him nudge between her bosom.

"Hmm, is that so..." she replied, trailing off and not knowing what to say about it. She would never be able to comprehend being afraid of every damn thing that was possible. Still, she had to at least try to understand him on some level.

"It's all right. I don't really like some of it as well. But, you know...we both have to keep strong if we want to get out of here, right?"

"Hmmph..." he mumbled wordlessly, almost impossible to tell if he was agreeing or disagreeing. As far as he was concerned, Fujino knew nothing about strength. She wasn't able to comment on the topic-it was like an ant that only knew pebbles thinking it knew about mountains. His shadow was stronger than her.

So all he did was stay in his place, breathing slowly, arms holding him steady.

Fujino flinched a bit and kept silent. 'Guess that's not the way to go, huh.' she thought, as she stared off into the distance. What else could she do, though? Aside from idle conversations and being able to bend stuff, she was pretty much useless. Even in comforting someone, since she never experienced the emotional pain of any type earlier in her life.

Nevertheless, she wanted to alleviate his worries. From her view, he was the only one that understood her, so she had to do something to at least make him happy.

As she was lost in her thoughts, she unknowingly began to sway a little gently from side-to-side.

"Mmmm..." Now that was more like it. His legs curled up under him to sit him up slightly, humming quietly. It was quite pleasant, the gentle rocking motion. He could focus on the back and forth and ignore the rest of the world.

Just for a little while.

His breathing was soft and slowl, as if he was asleep. But he certainly wasn't. He never slept, not even now. He was relatively at ease, yes, but only relatively. Even now, he wasn't dropping his guard, even as he clung to her just a little tighter as she stroked his hair.

He wouldn't drop his guard for anything, but he could at least pretend to and hope he tricked himself.

In response to that, she held him closer and began to sway again. However, just holding in the silence didn't feel quite enough, so she began to sing a song. It wasn't anything really special, but it wasn't of the sappy kind either. Though she doubted that it would do something, she hoped that it'd at least make the atmosphere of it all somewhat better.

Asura remained silent for a while, listening intently.

But after that, his humming began to copy the song's melody, if a beat or two off every now and then.

Her eyes lit up in sort of a childish joy, while her cheeks were flushed in a rosy red, and her heart began to thump a little faster.

'How cute...'

No longer wanting to satisfy her thirst blood, she instead wanted to keep the precious time they were having for as long as possible, so she went on to sing another tune after she was finished with the first, this one slighty more happier and upbeat then the one before it.
