It was another one of those weeks where Tsunade wasn't quite sure what the experiment was. It felt familiar, this feeling of freedom, but she couldn't put her finger on it yet. Decisions just seemed easier. She wanted to do something and she did it without the usual hesitations or debates.
It was early, but she already had a drink in front of her. She wasn't slamming it with the intent to get drunk, but there was no reason to wait for a 'decent' hour. She wanted a drink, so she had one. Instead of doing anything productive, she was reading a historical romance and making notes in the margins about plot holes and inconsistencies. It was something she hadn't indulged in since she was sixteen. Her door was propped open a couple inches, letting people know that she was accepting visitors.
