Well this sucks

When: Sunday, after Allen has brought her to safety following Tyki's attack.
Where: Her room for now.
Summary: Anyone who wants to check up on Maka after her slightly incoherent post.

Warnings: angst, possibly fluff.
Maka didn't feel like talking. Yukina said she would get better, but it would take time, and that helped. It helped tremendously, but it didn't make the blackness fade away. It didn't make her stop blinking and then think that maybe this time, she'd open her eyes and she would see.
It didn't work though, and the darkness remained, broken only by the glow of the souls of those around her. She was sure that if not for her perception, she'd be much worse off. Allen had come back after he'd confronted Tyki, and she was currently holding onto him where she sat. One of her arms was wrapped around his, and her face was again buried in his shoulder. Her eyes were open so that she could watch the bright soul flickering from within his chest, and she continued to blink back tears every once in a while.
Yukina had said that was normal too. That her eyes should stop watering soon.
She blinked again, and held Allen just a little more tightly. His arm and soul were her anchor, and at the moment they were keeping her from letting herself fall too much into fear and self pity.
