Where: In an empty room. On the second floor. It's secret
Summary: Evil twins are around! Clearly the solution to this is to hide in a fort

Lucas had left briefly to find Matthew and to get as many supplies as he could from his...or at least, his older self's...room. He was trying to seem as normal as possible, but in the last few days he'd talked to more people than he had all year, and there was a pretty good chance--he was almost sure of it--that he had at least three friends. Which was three more than he'd ever had before.

With Matthew standing behind him, and a backpack over his shoulders, he knocked lightly on the door, looking around suspiciously.

"WHAT'S THE PAWSSWORD?!" Nepeta's obvious voice shouts from behind the door. You can never be too careful, even if you're expecting your Luquius to come back.

He grins a little on his side of the door at her voice. It was easy for him to see why he was friends with her when he got older--Nepeta was nice, and sweet, and funny, and her horns were so cool, like something out of a heavy metal video, and--uh. Lucas moves closer to the door to whisper.

"Penguisaurus!"

...Nepeta and Lucas probably shouldn't have been the ones in charge of the pawssword. Er. Password.

"CORRECT!" She flings the door open and gives Lucas a one-armed hug! It is clearly the greatest password ever. Penguins and dinosaurs are the best things ever.

"Jade brought a little girl with her and I turned my coat into a pillow purrson to sit with us and it's funny."

It was way too difficult to get the coat on over her arm while it was in a sling. Just a T-shirt and pants like a normal troll, for once. She wasn't even wearing her kitty hat! Nepeta looked almost... normal.

Matthew is still standing behind Lucas when the door flies open, and he's nothing short of startled when Nepeta flies out and tacklehugs Lucas. Warily, Matthew flinches back. Even though Victoria (he was still thinking of her as that) had made him feel a lot better about girls in general, he still isn't quite sure about this, and especially not about one as rambunctious as Nepeta.

He says nothing and waits for Lucas to introduce them, holding onto the bottom of his taller friend's t-shirt nervously and trying not to look too unpleasant.

He still blushes when she hugs him, even though between Nepeta and Jade he's been confronted with more hugs and kisses than ever before. He clears his throat. "A pillow person..?" He takes a moment to look in awe at the fort--Nepeta and Jade were REALLY good at this, and even though Lucas helped he was more just...doing what they told him to and reaching the high places.

Lucas steps aside and clutches Matthew by the wrist, only the smallest bit of contact but still something, and presents him as they enter the room and lock the door.

"This is my friend. Matthew." He smiles reassuringly at him. "And this is Nepeta. Um. She's really n-nice."

"Yes! I put a pillow inside of the coat and now it looks like the pillow is wearing the coat and it's really funny." She giggles. Those pain killers she got from Bones are pretty intense.

"OH! Heeheehee, Matthew! You are so small!" She gives Matthew a one-armed hug, too. She's so glad he's not throwing up all over the place. Maybe it's a good thing he wasn't here to help with the fort...

"We're going to have a lot of fun and stay safe and everything is going to be pawsitively wonderfur. You'll see!"
