Who: Stein and Asura
When: Late Wednesday night
Where: Some non-descript back alley somewhere
Summary: Asura's fearlessness-driven rampaging starts with making poor Stein lose his damn mind.
Rating: idk man, like. PG-13? Maybe R?
Warnings: More nightmare fuel than your body has room for.

As much as Stein wanted to blame the stupid animals who were tailing him around the city, he'd started feeling it long before those things even showed up. That sort of throbbing in the back of his head, not unlike a heartbeat, but just enough off-rhythm from his pulse to make it seem so very wrong. He'd had the same feeling since this cluster of experiments started. Since they'd gotten to this facility and the collars deactivated. And he had a sinking feeling he knew exactly who was causing it.

He slumped against a wall with a sigh. It had been progressively getting worse until Sunday when the ebb and flow of Stein's sanity came to a screeching halt - it probably had something to do with the random good mood Asura was in the other day. And now, the insanity wavelength seemed to have hit him again full-force and while it wasn't quite to the point of unbearable yet, Stein really had to wonder just how long he could manage to keep himself under control at this rate. He could already see those spindly little three-eyed... Things creeping into his vision, and those things always harbored disaster it seemed.

But Stein hoped it would pass, that it would be one of the random little episodes of insanity he always managed to snap out of after a little while, and that he might be able to keep himself away from anyone he might regret cutting up until he started feeling better.

franken stein, asura, wish week
