Warnings: Ryoji possibly releasing Thanatos
Ryoji did not say anything to Tyki immediately, instead, he secured his rolled up sleeves and loosened his scarf just a bit more before looking at the man dead on. He did not know how strong Tyki was, but what mattered was the fact he knew that he was strong on his own. Whether he was still stuck in his human form or not. He wouldn't attempt to release his true state as Thanatos, he didn't feel it was necessary. Tyki had claimed to be a sort of advanced human, and that alone made Ryoji wary of being at full strength. Whether or not he was a malicious figure in Ryoji's eyes, he didn't want to kill him. But if he found it was necessary to, he would, unfortunately. He didn't like to take lives, and when he had to become one with Nyx several years earlier, and the killing intent he had felt then, it was something he'd rather not experience again. Instead he wanted to just as peacefully as possible, try and put a stop to Tyki and his senseless killing. However, being the slight existentialist that he was, Ryoji found himself wondering if Tyki had a better motive for taking someone's life. Yes, he had been attacked, and some people who didn't know their strength might attack in retaliation and accidentally kill someone...But Ryoji could sense just from the way this man smiled, that Tyki's killing that man was no accident.
He sighed somewhat, he didn't like to get into fights, but sometimes it was necessary. He hated cigarettes, and he really wished people would stop. He could always feel a burn forming on his lungs whenever someone smoked. A slow death, that's what cigarettes were. The teenage god looked up at Tyki, and shrugged.
"Won't be able to stop?" he asked, expression unchanging, as he felt the shadows inside him wriggle and spring to life at the concept of an oncoming challenge. Wonderful, just wonderful. Clearly, sarcastic.
"Then I'll just keep going until I can make you stop."
