Who: The Midnight Crew, guest starring Nepeta
When: Friday Evening
Where: The Midnight Crew's current hideout (a warehouse on Dixon's Dock)
Summary: Slick decides to go ahead and give Nepeta a chance in doing some work with the Crew. Specifically, using her as bait to try and get Catwoman's attention by making a video broadcast. We'll see how well that pans out.
Rating: Considering the Crew is all there? Probably R.
Warnings: Jackassery, the babbling of a little cat girl, and probably stabs
Slick liked old warehouses. He didn't know why. He supposed they could have done this shit anywhere they wanted without any real problem, considering the town was completely empty. Hell, they probably could've gotten into some assholes abandoned mansion here. But that wasn't he point. The point was the atmosphere, goddammit, and you had to have that if you were going to be part of this business.
And he had the image set up for this shit, alright. Dark, fairly dirty area of the warehouse? Check. Slick was pretty sure Droog was pissed at him just for selecting an area like this, but to hell with that. Some grime and dirt helped set the goddamn scene, as far as he was concerned.
Rickety old wood chair? Yep. Got that. That's where the "hostage" would sit, when Boxcars finally got the little shit here. And rope? Fuck yes Slick had him some rope, and he snapped it taut in his hands for a moment. Goddamn did he love the feel of rope occasionally. It felt like classic villainy. And hell, why shouldn't it, if they were going to help pick off some stupid bitch running around in a cat suit? It didn't really sound like it was possible for him to go too over the top with anything.
He was set, at least. Now all Slick needed was for the rest of the Crew and the brat to get their asses over here, and they could get to business.
