In the instant the feed had cut from the conversation with Severus the oldest Marauder had started up the tracking spell in order to find the little squirt. It had taken a few minutes to get across the first floor with the ice and water everywhere but now there was one sopping wet Sirius at the door with a light from his wand lighting the way.

He sent up a temporary light to hover in the air that lit the entire biodome so he could see properly. "Severus, don't move."

Severus shielded his eyes from the light, squinting towards the doorway, looking pale and confused. He grew still as he was asked, wet sloshing stopping until only his ragged breaths and shivering cold be heard.

"Sirius? W-why's everything dark, and wet, a-and why's it so cold?" He could see his breath hanging in the air now, and he held his arms round himself to try and conserve his body heat.

Tucking his wand into his pocket Sirius started to trudge through water, mud and icy patches towards Severus keeping an eye out for any traps that might still remain. Once he drew closer he leaned down in front of the kid and looked him over for any signs of wounds that might still be bleeding.

"The lights went out two days ago and with the temperature dropping the pipes bust open and now there's water everywhere. Seems like the bloody doctors are intent on making us think we're really just going to be left here." Now he pulled out his wand again and cast a warming charm on the boy that would hopefully help until they could get upstairs to properly dry off his clothes.

"Do you have any injuries that you know of?"

The warmth seeped through him, and slowly he stopped shaking quite so much, minds able to focus a little more, though he still felt weirdly hazy. "I don't...know," Severus mumbled, groping at chest with numb fingers. There was no gaping hole there, so that was one plus, though it still ached, and his heart gave a flutter just thinking about it. Most of his wounds seemed to have healed, though a few were bleeding sluggishly, and there was dark bruising around his neck. Nothing life threatening, but he was not going to be feeling great a for a while.

"I'm okay. I'm just...really tired...and...kind of sore," he said finally, trying to mask his pain with a determined look. "I'm sorry I left. I was going to come right back, I swear."
