It was some time before Darc’s defensive anger, shock and nervous energy had burned away enough for him to return to the room; he had spent some time pacing around the biodome, trying to make some kind of sense of what had occurred between Vallewida and himself. His ally had seemed fine one minute and then the next...well, he didn’t even really want to think about it.
He was still feeling tentative as he pushed open the door - a good two hours later - concerned that perhaps the human would still be there, in the same condition as he had left him in. However, on stepping inside and casting a fleeting glance around the room, it became quickly apparent that the other had left...and that Izaya had returned....
