Summary: Steph decides that these wayward kids need guidance and Batgirl is the symbol of justice that will do the job! Also, the population needs to be protected from these horrible kids.

Jade was enjoying herself far more than she'd considered she'd ever be able to in the Facility. It was still kind of boring most of the time, and there was still the constant threat of bad things happening! But compared to how things had gotten at home this was actually kind of a nice break, she hadn't gotten much time to just kind of mess around since she'd prototyped herself.

It was with this in mind that she had floated into the biodome, thinking about doing some gardening, and spotted... The Batgirl!! Oh my goodness. She had forgotten entirely about her!! This was her chance, now, to use her new sprite knowledge and her Becquerel abilities to discern the true identity of the Batgirl at last!

She floated over to the superhero, a confident look on her face. "Hi Batgirl!!!"

"Woah.... I mean, hi Jade. I think? What the heck happened to you?"

How could anyone forget The Batgirl!? Better question, how could anyone recognize that green floating thing as Jade? She smiled despite the shock of seeing the usually adorable little girl as ... whatever that was.

Jade stared intently at the costumed hero, crackling lightly with green energy. "It is a long story!!"

She reached out and poked Batgirl lightly with a ghostly hand. "But what matters is that I am finally going to figure out who you are!"

"Oh, really? You think so, do you?" Steph smirked. Jade was still pretty damn adorable, apparently.

"And just how are you going to do that?"

"Well there are only a few options!!!"

She floated in a circle around the heroine, examining her ever-so-closely. "I mean there are not that many people who are that tall and have blonde hair and stuff so it should not be too hard to figure it out, right?"

This is exactly what she had been afraid of. This right here. Although... it was Jade.

"You thought I was Vriska. She's not even blonde!" Point.

Crackle crackle. Crackle crackle. Electricity sparked around Jade as she floated, her mind racing with her own memories and her various enhanced mental abilities thanks to her Bec and Sprite powers.

Something clicked, something that would never have clicked if it wasn't for the Omnipoterrier's immense intelligence. Her tail wagging, she leaned into the Batgirl's ear with a smile and whispered.

"Steph do you like petting dogs?"

"Took you long enough! I figured you would have noticed in Abyss at least. Gamzee didn't even realize it and I was right next to him." She smiles despite the secret being ruined, "Dogs are pretty awesome."

Do Jadesprites like being scratched behind the ear? Because that is happening.

Yes. Yes Jadesprites like being scratched behind the ear. This specific Jadesprite wags her tail vigorously, making little weird dog squeaky noises.

"Hehehe well I guess I was not thinking very straight arf arf arf arf arf and it did not really matter that much!!!"

"You were probably too busy daydreaming or imagining things. What exactly happened to you, anyway?" That barking was kind of weird. Adorable, but weird.

"My secret better be safe with you, loyal doggie. Not like it's much of a secret around here... but still. I don't want people going after my friends to get to me."

"...A lot of things." And that was all the answer Steph was going to get immediately!!

"Of course it is!! bark bark bark I won't tell anyone~" She followed up this promise with a big hug! And accidentally licked Steph's face oh no.
