Who: Willow and L. When: Monday of OOC week. Where: L's Room Summary: Willow goes to cast a Spell on L. She wants information. Rating: PG-13. Warnings:Dark Wiccan goddess and more sociable L.
L was sitting directly underneath the sprinkler, the soles of his feet together and his hands on his ankles in a change from his usual crouch. His face was tilted upwards, his eyes closed, and he was letting the water soak him - feeling all of a sudden calm, albeit nostalgic. The rain helped him think... And knock at the door distracted him. Willow. Despite the urges which L was suddenly getting to be sociable, he was still wary. From what he'd observed, Willow could be unpredictable, and he was enjoying the fake rain from the sprinkler too much to move, so he ingored her for now.
Willow smiled. She waited for a moment longer before raising her hand an clenching her fist. The click of the tumbler in the lock clicked into place. With a wave of her hand the door opened.
"Sorry. I don't like the hallways." She said with a coy smile. She waited for L to acknowledge her.
So she did have some sort of magical ability... He hadn't heard any fumbling with the tumblers, which even the most experienced of lock pickers would have made. Although, the noise of the sprinklers could have dishuised the tiny sound... Urgh, why did he even give a shit?
L opened his eyes although he didn't turn his head.
"L" she said taking a step in. She removed her shoes and floated less than an inch above the water collecting on the floor so that she didn't get wet.
She looked around the suite. "Identical." she sighed looking at him. "I see collecting the water isn't going to be the problem now." She smiled in that evil way of hers. "So L, how long do you want the rain to last?" her pupils dilated and spread out.
"Ryuzaki." L murmured, correcting her without thinking. And then wished he hadn't. Something inside him wanted someone to say L, it was so close to La- No! Ryuzaki was fine!
He blinked a bit and finally turned his head towards her. She was floating and inch or so above the floor. Amazing... that confirmed it solidly, she definitely had magical abilities.
He narrowed his eyes a bit at her smile. That wasn't a nice smile, it was what L would, now, describe as a Kira smile. Cunning, coniving, plotting.
"As long as possible..." He murmured, directly meeting her black eyes with his identical black ones.
"Ryuzaki, with the amount of water in here, I could make the water cycle over you for roughly a hundred years." she said, grinning. "If you would like it to last until you sleep, or lay down or something..." she trailed off looking at his eyes.
"Yes?" she said inquiring as to why he was staring at her so vividly.
"Hmm?" L questioned, wondering what she was asking. Even underneath the sprinkler he didn't need to blink. Oh! That must be it, people tended to get uncomfortable because he studied them so intently with his froglike eyes... He ginned internally and stared some more, waiting for her to answer.
Willow waved her hand, a small circle of water cleared and there was a part of dry land. She stopped floating and stood on it.
"Right. Ryuzaki, I shall make it rain on you until you request it to stop. That is, you request the Rain to stop not come to me and ask, because I cannot promise I'll ever be in the mood to stop it." she said, waving her hand water raising casually around it. She stopped, and the water was collected in a blob raised above her hand. "Right." She concentrated on the blob. It started to boil and soon was steam collected in a cloud. She whispered a word and it flew over to L and hovered above his head.
"There. It should rain and rain on you." she smiled at him, with and undertone of evil smirk.
L watched as the water blob floating above his head seemed to burst open and pour down on him. Added to the water coming from the sprinkler it created the sensation of sitting beneath a waterfall.
Willow grinned. She Clenched her fist, as the cloud above L's head gets a little smaller, the rain coming out from the cloud slows down to a light drizzle. She blinks and takes in a shaky breath.
Looking a little worried, she allows the water to sweep over her feet, Her hands shake for about thirty seconds before she clenches her fist again. "Sorry. I obviously didn't account for the other elements when I cast that spell. It took a fair bit out of me." she said, standing straight again, her eyes return to normal.
L shook his shaggy black hair like a dog as the downpour lessened a little, still combined with the sprinkler it created a pleasantly heavy storm and L smiled happily, turning his face back to the water.
"Thank you Willow." He murmured, closing his eyes, expecting her to leave.
Willow looked as if she was about to say something. However, she faltered. "My magic isn't strong enough to interrogate him now." she thought, She remembered that'd she'd stopped the sprinker from spraying in her room. That's what was draining her powers so vividly. Or at least, that was the best explination she could come up with.
She turned and left. Opening the door and slamming it behind her.
