Aoko was used to people forgetting her birthday, after all she couldn't even remember the last time her dad had remember without her having to tell him. Last year, she had just let her birthday come and go and this year she wanted at least one happy birthday from someone. She hadn't expected Kaito to feel bad about forgetting it-he sure didn't feel bad last year-though she didn't ever tell him.
She was really glad though, when Kaito decided they should spend some time alone and left 'their kids' with Conan- who seemed less then eager to be baby sitting. Then a thought occurred to her.
She and Kaito hadn't ever talked about what had happened between them and now would probably be the time to do it... She looked over at the magician currently on her mind-maybe he wouldn't think of it.
