Rocky Horror rehearsal [Scene 2]

When: Wednesday of bomb week
Where: the Rec Room
Summary: The second Rocky Horror rehearsal commences. They will be rehearsing Scene Two.

[Gene enters the stage with his script and sits down on the chair pretending to be driving a car along with the silly sound effects that go along with it.]

Hmm.

[Puts his hand to his chin and exaggerates a thinking pose.]

(Emmett sits on a chair, watching him and scribbling one his script - whether he's writing notes or doodling flowers and love hearts however, who knows?)

[fetchdixon]

(he looks up and realises that he's missing some cast so had better do some stand in work. He stands and pulls the chair up beside Gene's. He sits down and looks up at him like an adoring sweetheart, fluttering his eyelashes dramatically)

What's the matter Brad darling?

(he's finding it hard to keep a straight face whilst imagining how strange this must look)

[Gene does his best to keep a straight face through this so might as well have a little fun during the crisis. Acting out the parts with Emmett was certainly a lot more fun than just pretending that someone was there.

He looks around, pretending to still be in the car as if he was looking over the dash, pretending to be lost.]

I think we took the wrong fork a few miles back there. We'd better go on ahead up the road and see if we can find our way back.

[He pretends to put the car in reverse, putting one hand on the back of Emmett's chair and looking over the shoulder. His body jerks forward as if a blow out happened. Eyes wide, biting his bottom lip.]

Oh darn! Janet.

[fetchdixon]

(Emmett gasps and clings to Gene's arm)

What was that bang?!

[eugene_watson]

[Gene's face gives a sideways smirk in disbelief. It's obvious he's getting into the part.]

We seem to have a blow-out in the front left-hand tire.

[His hand hits the not present steering wheel and clicks his tongue, acting out that he's putting the not present car in park.]

[fetchdixon]

(Emmett looks like he's pretending to understand when he really doesn't )

.. Oh...

(he's also quite getting into the part, even if it isn't his)

[Gene jumps slightly when the thunder and lightening were on the cue in the script. He slightly stutters his lines for an added effect even if the original Brad didn't seem so jumpy.]

Y-You'd better stay here and keep warm while I go for help.

[He moves his hand to open a car door, appearing as if he's about to step out.]

[fetchdixon]

(Emmett grabs his arm tightly, acting needy)

But where will you go? We're in the middle of nowhere!

[eugene_watson]

[Is pulled back, nearly falls off the chair and laughs.]

Didn't we pass [snicker] a castle back down the road a few miles? Maybe they have a telephone [cough] I might use.

[He couldn't help it but laugh now from the loss of balance.]
