[and then it actually hits Loz: There was no Jenova reaching out from his brother in this form. Cloud was just a kid, like the one he'd accidentally kidnapped back in Edge]

[instinctively, and without really realizing, Loz puts his hand on Cloud's shoulder and pulls him close to his side, using his larger body to ensure the Cloud doesn't get caught up in the crowds of small children]
