[Well... technically this little guy's not supposed to be outside. Much less by himself. But Vincent doesn't honestly care. Point is, it's fresh (sort of) air, and not the oppressive whitewash inside. Not the most social, no, but he's trying.

Vincent is just mostly satisfied with trying to figure out just why it is he's dizzy from hanging upside down on the jungle gym.]

[Hanging upside down looks like fun! Cloud hooks his knees on a bar and flips over so he's upside down looking at Vincent.]

What are you playing?

[There's a pause, and a faint frown.]

...nothing...

[Was just... hanging around, y'know?]

[Cloud grabbed a bar and unhooked his legs, flipping over again so he was dangling by one hand.]

Wanna play?

[A pause. Not really used to that question. Then there's a bit of a smile, thin and waning. And a nod.]

[Cloud does not understand the concept of shy. "Okay" is the same as an enthusiastic "YAY!"]

[He's kind of done hanging upside down-- it kind of hurts the head a little. Dropping down is a little graceless, but that's okay! Aspect of play time certainly helps the mood, though.]

Never played any of that. How does it go?

[Cloud drops to the ground too.]

If you're pirates, you get swords and guns and say "Arr matey!," and get treasure. If you're monster hunters, you get swords and guns, and kill monsters.

We can use sticks for weapons.

Treasure? You mean-- like on boats? And then sailing?

They have boats and airships! And they get treasure from deserted islands, and have parrots and cool hats, and walk the plank.

Come on, we need sticks!

[Cloud takes off for the nearest tree, looking over his shoulder to see if Vincent is following.]

[Oh, he's following alright, and that shy layer seems to have melted right off, off to look for a good stick.]

So who's gonna be captain? I don't wanna peg leg... [Makes a bit of a face. Sounds uncomfortable to begin with.] Maybe I shoulda brought my scarf. It would have looked cool...

[Cloud looks at the ground. Nope, they keep the area way too tidy around here.]

We have to climb up to get sticks. You can be the captain, and I can be the first mate... we need something for treasure! Like leaves.

Captain? ...me?

[Really? That's... kind of cool! He's glancing up the tree, frowning a little.]

...big tree...

[Cloud gives the tree a defiant frown and starts gripping the bark with all his strength.]

It's not too big for me!

[With effort, he manages to get a foothold and starts making his way up.]

[Well, country boy, you've met a city kid, and he's fiddling with his shirt before scowling and deciding, well if this other kid can do it?

So can he! Albeit, a scraped palm for the effort of at least following as best he can.]

[Cloud makes it to the first big limb and plops himself down, leaving room for Vincent.]

Now we need to find good sticks. Do you want a gun or a sword?
