Minatsuki stumbled into the hallway, finding that the door to the room that she and several other strangers had woken up in was mysteriously unlocked. Her fingers came up to touch the new collar that had replaced the old one that once been in it's place. Where the fuck was that stupid cunt she called a brother? She was getting tired of playing the goddamn guessing game when it came to what was going on.
And it irritated her to be in that room with the fumbling and screeching idiots, so after she realized that collars had numbers that matched the cubbies lined against the wall she had grabbed her clothes and gotten the fuck out. None of them had what she needed.
After leaving the room, she started getting dressed in the hallway when she heard footsteps approaching. This time she wasn't as particularly bothered as she had been when she'd awoken, at least now she had some undergarments. Perhaps she could use it to her advantage and snare whoever it was into giving her some fucking answers.
Yoh's heart was hammering in his chest. Minatsuki was here! She was really here! He couldn't believe it. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been this excited, this anxious, this happy, all at once. He clutched Aoko's hand in his, pulling her along as he ran.
He wasn't going to lie (well not about this) he was more than a little worried about Minatsuki and Aoko meeting. He had told Aoko the truth, he was in love with her. He would protect her to the last.
But Minatsuki...
Minatsuki was his sister. He would do anything for her. She needed him, he needed her. The Takamis depended on one another and nothing else in the world.
"Minatsuki!" he came to a halt in front of her. His face was hard to read but there was a smile on his face and in his eyes amongst the other emotions.
Aoko very nearly ran into Yoh as he stopped so abruptly, she managed to stop herself, however and regained her balance.
"S-Sorry" She mummbbled, moving out from behind her boyfriend and peeked around to set eyes on Minatsuki. Aoko had met her previously back before she'd been terminated but hadn't really ever said anything to her aside from formalities.
This would be different, now she was meeting her again and this time under different circumstances. She remembered quite clearly the random confession Yoh had made but she wasn't going to let that deter her.
The brunette swirled around, swiftly pulling the rest of her clothes on just as her brother came to a stop right before her. Her lips parted ready to issue several curses aimed at him when someone else stepped out from behind him. Her mouth snapped shut and she cast a flicker of a glare at him before a more relieved expression overtook her face. What the fuck was this dip-shit thinking bringing a stranger along with him? Her eyes zoned in on the handcuffs that held them together. Or maybe he had no choice, at the very least he should have warned her

He bent down to hug his sister, pulling her into a tight hug. He whispered into her ear, "don't even think about it." While using his free hand to gently move her hand away from her ear. He straightened "You've been kidnapped and taken to a laboratory...it doesn't make a lot of sense but it's true. And this, this is Aoko. She's my...my girlfriend." He looked to Aoko for approval for this statement.
Aoko would never know how grateful she would have been if she had known the danger her handcuffs were in. They had previously belonged to her father and the slight rust on them showed evidence of their age.
She nodded at the introduction Yoh gave her and offered Minatsuki a warm smile.
Her brother had given her several things to process at once. First of all, who the shit was he to tell her what to do? Despite being older, it was Minatsuki who held all the power. She could shred him into tiny little bite-sized bits and snack on him for weeks if she wanted to. She was also confused as to why he'd want to stay handcuffed or protect the little whelp beside him. She shivered slightly resisting the urge to grit her teeth as his arms wrapped around her in a hug. Minatsuki wasn't big on displays of affection or any human contact really, at least not the kind that didn't involve peeling flesh. In fact, she found all humans disgusting. They were all filthy lying shitbags as far as she was concerned

He could see the gears turning in his sister's head.
"Time stops here," he said, knowing full well that that didn't help. "I've been here half a year even if you saw me a minute ago. It's essentially G-Ward but without the deadmen and fights, just the experiments. But this week we're in, usually we're in this sterile fucking prison, right now we're in charge. Fuck knows how long it'll last, though."
He kept his eyes on her ears, she was fast. Her fingers were almost as fast as his.
"Aoko, can I borrow your blackberry?" he asked without turning around, "I want to show my sister the intro post."
Minatsuki seemed absolutely charming but then... so had Kaito. Stupid wanna be magician lying, bastard, jerk of a best friend. She tuned the other two out in favor of mentally chewing Kaito out but snapped back as Yoh asked for her blackberry.
Aoko blinked briefly wondering where his went and then she remembered and used her free hand to hand hers over.
"Oh sure." But she found it a little strange he wasn't turning around to ask. Discarding the thought entirely she didn't even let the cursing effect her, mostly because she'd heard her father say much worse about Kaitou Kid and honestly Aoko had a mouth of her own depending on the situation. ...Stupid Kaito.
Well Minatsuki knew she wouldn't be getting any real information now that he'd brought his whore along. All of his true thoughts would be filtered in front of her. Yoh only revealed his true nature in front of her or others who had somehow gained knowledge about it.
So she just blinked like a good little girl, playing her part to the letter. "Time...s-stops?" She stammered, mixed emotions crossing her face as she tried to comprehend it all. "You mean...this place IS just like Deadman Wonderland. T-they're not going to take anything else from me are they? She reached up to grab her pounding head, the effect of the drugs had still not quite worn off. It didn't help that she was caught in a major explosion before arriving. Her body was still very sore, her legs trembling under her weight. That idiot Ganta had fucked her up bad, almost every area of her body had some type of bandages, her right arm especially.
She steadied herself against a nearby wall as she waited for Yoh to show her whatever the hell he was talking about.
He put his arm on his sister to help steady her. It was a reflex. He clicked through a few entries to the written post explaining their situation and held it out for his sister. " You haven't seen this, right?" he asked. "No," he continued, "they aren't going to take anything from you. Not like in Deadman Wonderland. But that doesn't mean they don't do weird experiments. But it's not the same sort of thing. Less organ farming more stealing their clothes or making them tell the truth." Although with this last he gave Minatsuki a look that they both understood. The truth and the Takamis did not get along.
Oh that post. Aoko remembered some kid had linked it to her when she'd first arrived. She politely didn't say anything and let the siblings talk feeling only slightly out of place. She looked up slightly startled at the term 'Organ farming' though. Surely, she'd heard that wrong.
She didn't bother to ask however, as she didn't feel it was her place to. Instead she busied herself with her own thoughts and went back to tuning them out. She was going to have to take the cuffs off eventually, Yoh had a right to time with his sister, after all.
She slyly brushed her brother away when Aoko wasn't looking, grabbing the device from his hands and scanning the text on the screen. Her face immediately darkened at the new information. It was a lot to take in all at once but Minatsuki was used to adapting. It was Deadman Wonderland all over again. If she had nothing else, she had a killer survival instinct. And just because she was trapped in another hellhole didn't mean she still couldn't have any fun where she was here.
"I see.." She mumbled, handing the berry back to Aoko. She glanced down at the handcuffs between the two. "Why are you handcuffed together? Did those 'doctors' do this to you?....I haven't seen anyone else in handcuffs."
"Uh," that was going to take some explaining. "I...did something I shouldn't have and Aoko wants to make sure I don't do anything again." He gave Minatsuki a look that promised he'd fill in the details later. "These are Aoko's cuffs," he said. "The thing is, we've been let into the complex but the fact that your hear means they can still bring people in. I have a feeling that this isn't over yet. The Consortium still exists and it's only a matter of time before we're all back in the cage." His face turned grim.
"Anything like it, anyway." Aoko amended, slipping the berry back in her skirt pocket cheerfully. She looked down fondly at her handcuffs and nodded. "They used to be my dad's but I kind of took them." She admitted.
She listened to Yoh and had to admit that he was right, there really was no telling when the Consortium would have them all back in facility one... as for now, she really would have hoped more people had caught on the idea that it wasn't over yet.
