Time for presents

Summary: The little demonic couple woke up with mistletoe in their room, and Rae learned a bit about Christmas, thus deciding to get Eclipse a present.

Raenef was having a very nice. He was warm with Eclipse in his bed back in the castle, eating sweets Eclipse had made. Even Eclipse was eating a few, and more than a few kisses slipped onto hands.

Then Eclipse fed him a cookie, and leaned forward and kissed him, and Raenef made a small happy noise.

When green eyes fluttered open, Raenef protested with a small noise only to realize that his dream wasn't actually a dream. The noise turned into a happy little trill and he smiled into it, pressing back slightly.

Ah, so Raenef was awake. Eclipse held the boy to him for a moment, prolonging the kiss more than was required to break the spell of the mistletoe. Caressing his master's face, he leaned back, taking in the young face in front of him.

"Good morning, Raenef."

Eclipse got a sweet, sleepy smile and another quick kiss before Raenef returned the greeting, snuggling closer.

"Hi. It's Christmas!"

"Mm, so I've learned." Eclipse wrapped his arms around Raenef, leaning back against the wall. "Do you wish to celebrate it?"

"Mmhm~" Raenef hummed happily, nuzzling Eclipse's neck before pulling away to look at him with glittering eyes. "I got you a present! Well, I made one. That's what you're supposed to do on Christmas! Get presents for people you love. Chris and Erutis have some too, but they're not the same."

"I...am afraid that I did not make anything for you..." Eclipse looked rather confused. Raenef had made something for him. Well, he supposed that he should have expected it from his master, the boy was always reliable for the unexpected.

"That's okay, it's just a spell I made," Raenef giggled, kissing a spot of skin on Eclipse's shoulder. "I'm really good at them this week! I made presents for other people, too."

"I have noticed. You're improvement is most impressive." Eclipse's eyes were soft as he ran a hand through Raenef's hair. "And... I must thank you, but what spell is this?"

Raenef's eyes flickered shut for a moment before darting over to their desk, which had been taken over by Eclipse's papers. "It's one to help you. Sort!" He called at the papers, pointing at the messy pile.

Immediately they began rearranging themselves into neat stacks based on content, and Raenef smiled proudly. "Because you always have so much work, and it's always so messy that I thought it would help!"

Eclipse's eyes widened and his jaw dropped a tiny bit. "Master... that is quite..." He leaned down, taking Raenef's chin in his hand and kissed him again. "Wonderful."

Raenef beamed, wrapping himself tighter around Eclipse as butterflies took off in his stomach. Eclipse always did this to him, made him feel warm and perfect.

"My father was good at making his own spells. So I tried too."

"And you succeeded." Eclipse smiled, his hand playing with Raenef's hair again. Long ago he had given in to his master's fascination for him, and he in turn reciprocated. It was...nice. To be together like this.

The blonde gave him another bright smile, pressing a kiss to Eclipse's neck. It was warm, like this, and so nice he didn't want to get up. He did still want his bed, though. It was a lot more comfortable.

Eclipse made a pretty good mattress anyway. That thought sent Raenef into helpless giggles as he imagined an angry mattress with Eclipse's face.
