In the first hour or so of Christmas Eve, the biodome had been transformed into a picturesque winter landscape. Everyone who dreamed of a White Christmas would get to see that wish come true, too. Snow drifted magically from the closed ceiling above, creating a hushed, peaceful, soft environment for everyone in the Facility to enjoy.
It couldn't last.
The fight was over almost before it began. Any witnesses might have noticed Cloud heading out into the biodome in the dead of night, looking seriously distracted. They might have seen Duzell there, or they might not have. At any rate, the snow is now blemished with liberal spatters of blood, and there's a blond lying face-down in the middle of it.
