Eclipse glanced around the biodome from where he was standing with Raenef. That man, Eclipse suspected him of being a demon, but he was not certain. "Raenef. I do not think that you should become involved in this. I will handle him."
"But..." Raenef looked up uncertainly, eyes flickering with worry. But he understood. It was Eclipse's duty to protect him and he was stronger anyway. The blonde nodded uncertainly. "Okay. Be careful. Don't get hurt."
Hiei could hear them from far away. He was sitting against the tree in silence. Thanks to his Jagan he was able to sense their presence before they were anywhere close to him. His form was pretty much drying from the towel he was offered and only a few droplets were dripping from his head. His sword rested at the side of him. He patiently waited.
"Thank you." Eclipse moved away from the boy, finding the man who had threatened Raenef under a tree near the far edge of the biodome. "I will not be injured." Purposefully, he uttered 'Go' and transported himself to the other side of the garden, appearing in front of the man, an unamused look on his face.
The half breed stood up when he saw them closing in. He watched as the brunette appeared before him. Something that he was capable of all the same. He picked up the sword and stepped back so he could give himself space. Of course the brunette towered over his smaller form. Hiei found the height difference irrelevant. He was more concerned on how much the other was capable of.
"You are the one who found it prudent to threaten Master Raenef, are you not?" Eclipse eyed the smaller demon--for that was what he was, Eclipse could feel his presence now--wondering at how powerful he was. He could sense some power, but it was obscured by the man's collar.
Hiei hid the rest of his powers with his youki suppression technique. The collar was a hindrance that he didn't need, "And if I am?" he mused towards the male. Conversing was not something he was good at. He;d rather cut to the chase. After all he was certain why this man approached him. There was no other reason. He glanced back at the supposed 'Master,' of his. He wasn't in the least bit amused. He should slit that kid's throat, but probably not going to be easy doing it.
"Then I will allow you to ask for forgiveness." A derisive smile graced the taller demon's lips. He would not stand for anyone threatening Raenef. This man was no exception, especially since he was a common demon, one of no standing that Eclipse could sense.
"I don't ask for forgiveness," being blunt as he was a small smirk played on his lips. Hiei had never asked, nor bowed to anyone. He wasn't going to start now. It was going to take more than this brunette to make him kiss the dirt. He was prideful, as he was arrogant.
"I thought as much," Eclipse bowed his head slightly, respecting the other demon's choice. "I am afraid that I will not be able to allow your insolence to go unreprimanded though."
"Is that so?" the demon replied, almost taking a stance. He was expecting it. somehow. He could tell that this was no ordinary low class demon. Even with those collars to shorten their full power, he supposed he might have found a worthy opponent.
"It is so." Eclipse began focusing his mezraez, feeling its pulse within him. He truly did not wish to anger his fellow prisoners here, not when he was so content with Raenef, but it was necessary. Lesser demons could not offend his master and live.
"Heh," the demon scoffed briefly. All for a kid. He didn't get it, but he didn't bother to question, the demon moved quickly away as he started to sense something. A direct hit wouldn't be pleasant. He didn't know what this one was capable of.
The two were several meters apart, and Eclipse measured the distance and the other's position. "Dark arrow." He spoke calmly, aiming his mezraez towards the other demon, his eyes narrowed.
He didn't use any weapons. Magic was it? He had never seen it before. The attack came rather quickly at him. Hiei dodged it without much effort, but not as fast as it should have been. After dodging the attack he moved in, tossing the sheath aside, and quickly moving towards the brunette prepared to strike him vertically with the sword.
Eclipse's eyes widened at the other's speed. He barely had time to dodge, whipping to the side and casting yet another dark arrow at the man while gather dark energy into his other hand, preparing to attack.
Hiei smirked a bit at the other's reactions. Never underestimate, he learned that the hard way. Hiei's eyes narrowed when another of those arrows went his way. He dodged it barely as well, slicing a few locks of hair and a bit of his sleeveless shirt. His expression changed back to a small smirk though, "Interesting."
Eclipse's mouth curved as well at the demon's antics. Interesting indeed. Gauging the other's movements, Eclipse moved smoothly around to aim, a ball of energy growing in his palm. He had to wait for the precise moment. The moment to strike.
Hiei vanished from his eyesight for a quick second before appearing behind the demon. Another quick strike of the weapon. He kept himself wary of the situation.
Eclipse whipped around just in time. The sword nicked him shoulder, slicing open the arm of his robe. Glaring, he shot the dark energy at the man, point blank.
Hiei suffered a blow to his shoulder as well. The area singed with a bit of pain, but that didn't stop him. He jumped back landing on his feet, as he flatly stared at the wound, "Tch," ignoring it made a dash towards Eclipse again, this time multiple strikes with the sword aimed at pretty fast pace.
"Magic Shield Circle 7!" Eclipse gasped, letting the mezraez flow into a capsule around his body. He would not be able to stop all of those blows, the one which had caught his stomach was enough.
A barrier?! He cursed mentally as he cleared backwards. He didn't stop there, and moved in for another few dozen slashes, hoping to break the damn thing. If it was like any barrier at home, it would be close to impossible to break. OF course, he was uncertain if this one was the same.
Eclipse reinforced the shield, gathering more mezraez from the surroundings in the slight reprieve. He had to stop this man before the mezraez was depleted.. He had time, but the sooner he could finish this and be back with Raenef the better. An even larger concentration of magic formed in his hand. He prepared to drop his shield and cast it at the smaller demon.
Scoffing in annoyance at the barrier, he jumped back. There must be something to break it. He hated fighting with shields, barriers and anything along those lines. Granted, he had no fire power right now either. He's going to attempt again. No damn shield was going to stop him.
As soon as he was far enough away that he could not immediately strike, Eclipse dropped the barrier and shot the energy at the demon. It was a larger amount and thus more powerful, and it was shot directly towards him. Eclipse could only hope that he would not have been expecting this...
He was watching, though the power he sensed surprised the demon, he hid it well. The thing coming straight for him, well, that was almost expected. He didn't get to move as fast as he should have and the spell pretty much hacked a side of his shoulders that as already injured, leaving a rather bloody mess on his left arm. Clever, her admitted, but defeat, he did not. He hissed at the pain, but attempting to ignore it, he pulled the bandanna from its place on his forehead, revealing a third eye. He was done playing around.
